I think Wizard's Retort on the Cry is just wrong. You can instead Dive Down on a Trickster and still have Spell Pierce up. It's not ideal, but at least you're not just dead if there's a Negate.
doesn't anyone find hilarious the fact that the biggest mtg prize ever is at the stake for the digital version of the game ? Honestly it kinda feels weird to see 2 people playing a card game throrugh a computer standing 2 metres one from the other
Glogoski put 19 Islands in that mono blue and propably I think he put 26 Mountains in that mono red at this point 😂 anyway he could throw 12 damage with those lighting bolts plus he draw 1 more after. How Glogoski got there with Those decks man? Mengucci just had better decks and good strategy
I do believe, as so much was at stake for Wizards with these early Arena tournaments...that they actually cheated, and manipulated the order of cards in the decks. A kind of a "council" of Wizards employees who dragged around in the decks, to create excitement and drama, and also choose the eventual winner. I think these events had too much of a "poster boy/girl" winners. Of course it would hard to point out, at which tournament they gave up it up, and let heart of the cards "choose" the order of the cards in the decks. :)

Had to come here 3 years after and say I agree. Th3 doubd effects and game play from Arena is juvenile at best. Long live Paper MTG !!
I don’t think they’re trying to innovate. I think they’re doing this to compete with computer games.
always amazed at the production, and how good day9 looks! wow. I could never
Ahhhhhhh, they shook hands!!! (*Bored during Corona*)
