  • As part of the Fall 2017 Open House season and many thanks to Dave and 455amtrak, we were able to attend one of the Open Houses for the Fall season of the Castle Peak and Thunder Railroad. In this garden railroad, you will be able to find a lot of iconic Disney characters and places as well as lovely Disney background music and trains from the Disneyland Railroad, Carolwood Pacific, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Casey Jr.'s Circus Train. At the time of this visit, the trains Lilly Belle 173 and Retlaw 1 set were running on the DRR Main/lower track while Casey Jr. Circus train was running on the higher track. With the permission from Dave, we also bring you a glimpse of more interesting equipment he has in his main workshop including Disneyland Railroad engines 1(C.K. Holliday), 2(E.P. Ripley), 3(Fred Gurley), 4(Ernest S. Marsh) and 5(Ward Kimball) all right beside each other as well as Lilly Belle #106(both model and relic), a prototype Grande Canyon car #106, a Henry, and parts for many other interesting projects. To make this even more exciting, 455amtrak also brought his own E.P. Ripley #2 in Ho Scale to show Dave as well as take pictures of it with Dave's own E.P. Ripley #2. For more on 455amtrak's models of the DRR, please be sure to check by at: / modeling-the-disneylan...
If you want to come by and check this awesome Disney World in one backyard or see the other trains run on the CPTRR, please be sure to check by Dave's website at www.cptrr.com/ and then check for open houses.

    Old English Garden Tour :
    ruclips.net/video/CrcdGn9elOM/видео.html
One Garden Center, Recycles wooden flats from colorscaping, covers
w/ fine chicken wire/ sphagnum moss and plants out one side with
    annuals-houseplants, hooks up to drip
irrigation. Colorscaping would affix to the wooden flats and grow and spill out
over the flat, trailing between 24”-36”. Remind me of today world of Living Wall Garden landscapes. Yesteryears,
planted out flats would sell between $100-$250 per flat. My favorites: Nemesia, staghorn ferns,
trailing dichondra, impatiens, tuber begonias, dwarf coleus, caladiums.
Finished flats were perfect for small entryways, courtyard and patios.
