One Day in Houston: BBQ, Tacos, & Things to Do!

- During our three weeks back in Texas for the holidays, we spent a day exploring Adam’s hometown, Houston, Texas! We enjoyed delicious BBQ, tacos, and banh mi, wandered around parks, both grass filled and graffiti filled, and saw a 64 ft waterwall! It was a really fun day and we hope you enjoy a glimpse at Houston :)

I know this is a year old now, but as a Native Houstonian, I'm so proud of the places y'all tasted. I love that y'all even included Taconazo! My friends are the owners, so I almost cry anytime I see it being featured! Great overall video!

It's so ironic that this pops up in my feed! I'm visiting Houston next month and I'm so excited! Mainly because I've been itching to get away since covid robbed me of my traveling plans last year. But also because I love sightseeing and eating FOOD! Haha! Sidenote: This is totally unrelated but I just love how Kat looks at Adam while he's talking. So frigging cute! 😍 I pray I can meet someone that I can look at like that and somebody that I can go on adventures with too!

Star Pizza, Neeta's Indian off 59, Mai's in midtown, Lyndon's BBQ off 290, Juarez Restaurant on Gessner, Thai Village in Rice Village, Lam Bo on Westheimer. There is so much yum to be had

That waterfall is huge!! So beautiful!! Love all the food you guys try, we're always game for new food treats! The BBQ looked amazing!!

You try Wings and More, they have the best chicken tenders, and have them with the white cream gravey. There are many locations all over Houston, but don't get confused with Wings and Thins.

Yes, Houston is incredibly diverse! It's the best thing about this place! (Out of many good things.) We live walking distance from another of the Roostar locations. Soooooo good.....

Just spent a few days in Houston 2 weeks ago and i loved it.. Cant wait to go back, Pinkertons was by far the best BBQ ive ever had in my life, and the brewerys were dope AF, St.Arnolds beer garden is a definite must visit for anyone looking to hit houston soon

The Pit Room is so good! I would drive 30 minutes just to eat there. Mac n cheese is a killer side and the sauce is amazing.

Taconazo! Right in the entrence of the Nawf! Great channel and wonderful energy. 🤘🏽Htown awready! Next time y’all visit, check out Turkey Leg Hut. Famous for literally pulling the bone clean out the meat. An absolute experience!

Taco Nazo is the bomb in the near northside. Only other place the might be as good is the taco truck at the Alabama icehouse.
I second this! Just a heads up there’s ALWAYS a line at turkey leg hut but it’s worth it. Another notable taco spot is Taconmadre, and for bbq triple j’s never disappoints!

That’s all I use to eat about a year ago and it’s not the same they don’t care about the quality anymore and I think it has to do with the mother who use to cook and she never failed me the daughter and other relatives cook there and they don’t put in any effort to cook like the mom use to and they never give me my beans it never failed I use to fly home to eat my shit and my beans missing and end up driving right back to that mf

@@AdventuresofAplusK My other top Houston restaurant spots are Mai's, The Breakfast Club, Empire Cafe, Velvet Taco, Pho Saigon, Larados Tacoria, Common Bond bakery, and the Acadian bakery. There lots of other great spots too but those are my favorites.

This makes me miss my home city. I moved to Kazakhstan over eight years ago. No Texas Brisket and Tex-Mex Chips & Queso here but we do have amazing Shashlik (grilled kebabs) and Georgian food (OMG cheesy bread)! However I really miss Casa Olé !!!!

Taconazo is the best. After a night out a plate of fajita and cheese hits the spot. Green sauce has chunks of avocado and is so damn good.

So when you said tacos you are actually screaming my name out loud lol. Next time you stop by please visit " La calle Tacos in downtown" it not only has extremely good food but the place itself brings you back to different places from Mexico and it has lots of culture there. It's just amazing. 🥰
