I'd say it's all about the *kind* of friction vs friction in general. Developers in my experience respond well to friction that aligns to value (the experiment I mention in the pod is a great example). It's also good to remember that devs are always going to be biased towards *doing*, and being hands on. So anything standing in the way of that will disproportionately impact them especially when the "why" isn't clear. Great q! - Laura
