Hands down my favourite concert of all time. The amount of times I've cried watching this. Mike is a genius and his music hits your emotions like nothing else. Truly unbelievable.
I saw Mike Oldfield Tubular Bells ll at Wembley back in 1992 or 93. It was one of the best concerts i have been too. And i have been to many all through the 70s 80s 90s. Well done Mike.
Beautiful. Simply beautiful. Am I the only American to recognize the beauty & genius of Mike Oldfield? I would hope not...Thank you so much for posting.
This is a classic from 1973 when it was released by Richard Branson on the Virgin record label. The first signing,as other record producers had declined. My all time favourite album.
I die everytime I listen to this piece of music. I listen to Mike's music since when I was born (maybe even before, thanks to my dad! XD). I think I'll never like another musician/composer the way I like him. An (unfairly) unknown genius.
Esta melodia acompaña el recuerdo del nacimiento de mis hijos. Mis lagrimas no paran de brotar cuando la escucho, es tan bella como mis recuerdos mas bellos...mis hijos!!❤❤❤❤
Amazing how Mike first plays the bells, then runs down to grab the acoustic guitar just in time, only to switch to electric guitar and back to acoustic again. He obviously wanted to play these parts by himself. I'm wondering if he planned the album in such a way to be able to switch the instruments in a live environment.
I always wondered this also.. whether in the actual planning of the pieces whether he thought about the live show... it would have been so much easier to layer everything and forget about the transitions... but then he is a bit of genius.. so who knows.
Kocham ten koncert jeden z piękniejszych jakie w życiu miałem okazję oglądać żałuje aby że nie na żywo . . . Ma skurczybyk głowę do muzyki . . . wielki szacunek dla MIKE'a
@themoose0101 LOL... No other artist has attmpted anything like this since.. do you know just how many instruments were played simultaneously in this concert? It was 1992 dont forget. Absolute genious and a beautiful sound. What do you mean by 'trying to do tulbular bells' This IS tubular bells performed by its original writer! WTF! lol

Yes, as was Phil Collins, to do a drum duet, or a live concert with 20 more instrumentalists, Andre Rieu, Michael Flatley, and many others...
