It is a mistake to take Olivet discourse and say it is for Israel, alone; read the following passages for what they are saying. Matthew 24:29-31 King James Version 29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. *Note He comes in clouds of heaven, whole world sees Him too, and "mourns" His appearing in vs 30 and in vs 31 the trumpet sounds and the elect are gathered. And it all takes place as vs 29 tells us immediately after tribulation of those days.

" by Mondo Gonzales offering a very convincing argument that the rapture is definitely pictured in this passage. Pastors, you all spend a lot of time on this section of Scripture. Bible scholars in today's world, and pastors too, are well to understand the two programs of God. After recently finishing all of McClains, The Greatness of the Kingdom, I've just finished Ironside's The Great Parenthesis, and have moved on to the threefold, in one book, from Walvoord, The Nations, Israel, and the Church in Prophecy swapping between chapters alongside your work The Coming Kingdom. As a native and resident of New England right now, I am a dispensationalist in a non-dispy world. But I will testify to the Word of God and the Testimony of Jesus Christ. Amen.
I like the phrase "All Scripture is for us but not all Scripture is about us." Indeed, and would be an error in ethnocentricism if we asserted it needed to be! The Melchizedekian priests were not about us, the house of Abraham was not about us, nor the old Kingdom of Israelite Kings, nor the deportations. Goodness. If we were forced to only read the sections about us, hardly any of the Bible would be kept. God forbid!
I would like his opinion on this too. I think it strange that a senator wrote about it and his wife who is a Dr is also speaking against it. The explanation is that it is going to be a serious problem for believers in Yeshua.
Question: They said, Matthew 24:2 is concerning the 70 AD destruction, but then the rest of the passage is able the end time "great tribulation." Where is the time jump in the text? The disciples asked about when will [the destruction] be? How does Jesus answer end up concerning something else in the distant future???
As the Days of Noah: Mt 24:37 Noah=Church put in ark 7 days BEFORE Destruction Noah=Jews had to go thru the Flood These two identities of Noah are concrete evidence that Noah being referenced in Mt 24:37, is the pattern of Church and Jews being represented in Mt 24. Pattern established: If Noah represents the Church and Jews, and Noah is used in Mt 24, then both the Church and Jews are seen in Mt 24. Mt 24:36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. But of that Day: Mt 34:39 “Did not know UNTIL the flood came and took them all away” They did not know until the Sudden Destruction came. The 2nd Coming of Christ will not be Sudden Destruction. The 2nd coming is at the end of 7 years of utter destruction. Dan 9:27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week, but in the middle of the week he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering and on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate. Even until the end which is determined is poured out on the desolate. Because we know that at the 3 ½ year mark the Antichrist will declare himself god in the Holy of Holies, they will know the exact day that Christ will come back. (I do understand that they will not know the day until the covenant is made between the Antichrist and the Jews, but it still does not fit the pattern. Mt 24: 39 says they did not know “Until” the very second the flood happened.) Mt 24:38 For as in the days before the flood the were eating and drinking, marrying and given in marriage UNTIL the day that Noah entered the ark. The Jews will not be eating and drinking and marrying at the end of the Tribulation when Jesus returns. 2/3 of the Jews will die. Zech 13:18 They will be in the wilderness, (Petra) or being beheaded, or hunted. Who is taken? I think BOTH pictures of the Jews and Church are seen here. “Taken”: Jon Courson taught me this awesome picture pattern!! The word “Taken” exact Greek word is seen: Mt 1:6 Taking a Bride Mt 17:1 Taking them up on the Mt of Transfiguration Jhn 14:3 Taking them up to Heaven to a place prepared “Taken” is also seen in the parable of the Wheat and Tares. In which you DO NOT want taken.. This is the Jews. BOTH Jews and Church are seen in the pattern of Taken, BOTH are seen in Noah. The men in the video had 4 arguments: I think all 4 are incorrect, but #3 really made me mad. 1.They say “Taken” is only for the bad, good left behind. At 43 min 31 sec they say Paralambano is not a technical word, and that it can be used for “either good or bad”… in their own argument of the word, they acknowledge that it can be used for BOTH. 2. Mt 24:36 “No one knows the day or the hour” They argue that this means the 2nd coming, and that the reason that they do not know when it will happen is because they are asleep. If they are asleep, then so are the angels. “But of that day and hour no one know, not even the angels of heaven but My Father only.” And not just the Angels, but Jesus also is asleep, as He did not know. They use 1 Thes 5:2-8 to say that those who are asleep are unbelievers, therefore they do not know the day or the hour of Christ’s 2nd coming. This interpretation is not rightly dividing and really is blasphemous to say that those who do not know are asleep, because Jesus did not know, nor the Angels, only the Father. Therefore it is NOT those who are asleep, but NO ONE KNOWS, just like it says. No one knows when the Rapture will be. 3. at 58 min 18 seconds; they are totally misleading and not rightly dividing the word of God on purpose. They said “So people don’t think I’m making up things” they say The Days of Noah are just a parable!!!!( This is in my opinion heresy. And really made me mad.) at 1 hour 8 seconds they say look at 24:32 “ Now learn this parable”( and of course they stop there and do not read the rest of the sentence) AND TAKE IT TOTALLY OUT OF CONTEXT> I was fuming mad. They say that As in the days of Noah was just a parable, and that eating and drinking and given in marriage is not to be considered. Totally disregarding Mt 24:32 in its entirety “Now learn this parable from the fig tree” The fig tree is the parable! NOT The Days of Noah!!!!! They actually use the words “pressing too far into the word of God” because they incorrectly call the Days of Noah a parable. 4. “But” Mt 24:36 , is a change of subject (peride Gr) they just mock this. They say “ it doesn’t start talking about the Moon being made of cheese”
Do you realize that the day of Pentecost was to complete one central theme....to empower the infant church which did not possess the holy spirit in their bodies...remember Jesus told the church wait here in Jerusalem until you be endued...empowered from on high..their were added not BIRTHED to the church !!! Did you two hard heads catch that ..the church that Jesus started on the shores of Galilee was simply waiting on the power of the HOLY SPIRIT..PERIOD !!!!!

You should watch Andy’s rapture series where he went over Matt 24-25 in about 12 lessons, showing that the rapture is not in this passage. God bless.
