Thank you for this teaching. You are so thorough and I appreciate you. I jumped on the “fig tree” teaching as soon as I heard the first podcast. We are all so weary of this world and ready to be with our Lord. Rightly dividing scripture and context is imperative and so many of us haven’t been taught to do that. Thank you for all you do online. I feel like we’re starving because churches don’t teach us about our eternal home. I pray you are blessed beyond measure.
Wow! This totally makes sense. This explanation is so clear. I've never heard Matthew 24 taught this way. Thank you for such a great teaching. God bless you.
You all ought to listen to Andy explain 2 Thessalonians 2:3 in which he, Tommy Ice, and now Arnold Fructenbaum believe THE “apostasy” isn’t referring to the “falling away from the truth”, but THE physical departure from Earth, i.e. the rapture of the Church prior to the Antichrist coming onto the world’s age. Andy and Tommy noted that other Bible translations prior to the KJV used “departure” also. This proves the pre-trib rapture is the truth rather than mid-trib, post-trib, and prewrath post-trib.
@@mikef6063clearly does not. The day of the Lord is mentioned. The Believers thought the 2nd coming had already happened. Paul said no the apostasy has to come first then the man of perdition. There are no signs for the Rapture. Apostasy here means Rapture. It has been explained not only by Andy, but Arnold Fruchtenbaum, and Chuck Smith, and others.
@@lesamccluskey9997 If you haven't read Apostasia yet, I don't mean any disrespect but it's a waste of time to dialogue. There is a 0% possibility Andy's interpretation is correct.
Wow! I see things a lot more clearly now...thank you. It seems to me as the Church, we should be more focused on 1 Thessalonians 5:3-6 "For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober." With all the peace and security talk going on right now around "The Deal of the Century," this could be our sign. GOD bless!
Excellent teaching Andy. This is a new idea to me, that the generation that won't pass away isn't talking about the 1948 birthday folk generation. I have to say, this does makes lot of sense.
Thank you for these studies! The Olivet discourse being separate from the Upper Room discourse makes all of the puzzle pieces fit together nicely. Would love to hear a Pastor’s Point of View on “the last day” ... God bless you and yours!!
Awesome study! I finally see that "this generation" refers to the generation of Jews alive during the last part of the Great Tribulation and not present day Gentile believers that witnessed the rebirth of the nation of Israel! Just another example of a golden nugget of truth obtained from "rightly dividing" the Word. Bless you abundantly Dr. Woods for using your divine gifting to feed many starving sheep with correct interpretations of scripture.
Thank you Pastor for clearing this up (that generation). So much confusion in the Body of Christ and I was one of them but your careful teaching has opened my eyes !!! Blessings on you as I know that you are undoubtedly a busy man!!! Your hard work is not in vain!!! Thank you very much!!! ✅❤️😀
Thank you so much for clarifying. It is true to discerning the Word accurately. I’m leading Revelation right now and appreciate this as it is timely in my preparation.
Thank you so much for this teaching DR Woods. 3 years on and this is even more relevant today. I am watching Christians trying to reconcile the Fig tree generation with a Pre trib rapture and it is becoming quite obvious that in May 2022 you cant have both. Unfortunately some are throwing away the Pre Trib rapture to hold on to the 80 year Fig Tree generation. For me there is quite a lot of Biblical and historical evidence for a Pre Trib rapture whereas the fig tree parable relies mostly on conjecture. Once again thanks and God Bless from NSW Australia.
Oh my, so grateful to have found you Pastor Andy. Your explanations and teaching of discerning the times and discourses Jesus gave in Matthew 24 and John 13 - 17 so understandable!! You clearly have a gift of teaching and I am looking forward to learning more from you both!! God bless your ministry. Lori Irons
Wow wow! Thank you! This teaching has totally changed what I believed all these years. I will re-run this to take time for all the notes I will need for home study.
Excellent explanation! Long time confused by this. Truly I have read God’s word for many years and it is not easy to understand and put everything in context!
Bob George got me started in rightly dividing scripture back in the mid 90's. For 20 years now I have continuously discarded all the preconceived notions and repeated "truths" that are simply never questioned, but handed down through generations of pulpits. Your sound biblical teaching is a wonderful confirmation for me and has really brought everything together. Thank you for your insight and teaching Andy.
This is what I learned from Arnold Fruchtenbaum and I will reread again with prayer, after listening to Amir's take on this being the fig tree generation. God bless your continued teaching and preaching.
I just watched this so that I could get Pastor Andy's take on the fig tree. He is very balanced and as always ver backed up in Scripture. Thank you. In the last two days this has massively erupted as a very divisive issue amongst the "wat men" pastors and teachers online. We need to pray for the Spirit to bring unity and peace and a willingness to keep the peace until we come to a full knowledge of the truth. Satan and his minions are working hard to divide us. I have wondered why these online sources of teaching and encouragement have even been allowed in this age of massive censuring. God, I believe, is preserving them for our edification. We must not bicker and divide. That's not good. It is concerning.
I too am going to re listen. I’m aware of the interview you mention with another online teacher/pastor where this topic was discussed. It’s ok to have a different view on these sorts of topics as long as they are backed up Biblically and even if they’re not where’s the grace?? Jesus was full of grace AND truth. You’re right we’ve got to stop pulling others down. Agree to disagree politely should be a Christian’s manner.
Quite an eye opener, I have to say! I need to listen again, but I am a little disappointed that we can't look at this 70th year as being the one for the Rapture as a fairly good estimate. Glad you did this a few days early because I really wanted to hear what you had to say. Thank you!
This is the first time ever that I've heard the scripture "This Generation" taught this way! Yet this makes total sense. Wow, I am marvelled. Great teaching. God bless you Andy.
Love how my eyes have been opened since listening to Andy Woods. I was one that was so hoping that the rapture would come in my life time, basing the rapture off of the Olivet Discourse. Thank you for all you do to help people understand the correct interpretation of the bible ❤
Oh, and THANK YOU!!!! for these wonderful teachings. I am following both the Daniel and Revelation studies and absolutely LOVE THEM! God bless you Pastor Woods for doing what He called you to do.
Well thank you Pastor Andy Woods. Finally someone explained Mathew 24 and put it in the correct time slot. I knew instinctively that something didn't fit but I couldn't figure it out. Finally my index finger and mouse will have a well deserved rest. I have been surfing the internet and listening to prophesy teachers for what seems to be forever and no one explained correctly what time in the future Jesus was talking about and who he was addressing in Mathew 24. It all makes so much sense now. Of course the Rapture will come before the Tribulation period because God dealing with Israel is the last event that will take place before Jesus establishes his Kingdom here for one thousand years. What a relief! Talk about seek and you will find. I was just about ready to accept the fact that maybe God doesn't want us to know the sequence of events of the end times. I don't know if anyone else on the internet knows and believes what you do but I didn't run into any of them. Thanks again, Dr. Andy Woods, for sharing your wisdom and understanding. You are a very good teacher.
I follow you on Facebook and share your videos. Thank you for the insight in this teaching! I just took 2 pages of notes! I've been praying for wisdom and knowledge and through this video the Lord just opened my eyes! Praise God for Disciples like you!🙌
Thank you so much Andy for not only giving really good teaching but also making it so easy to understand. May you and your family be blessed and I hope I get to meet you brother Andy in heaven. Jesus come soon.xx
Thank You for this lesson, makes my heart ache for the jews. It's nice to hear solid Bible teaching again, i had it as a young person in a conservative Baptist Church, wonderful Bible studies, but moved from this location and found it hard to find another solid Bible teaching church.
Ive been confused for some time about the generation that will not pass away, but after listening to John Mcarthur and to you, it is clearer now. It now makes a lot of sense, thank You Lord. May I apply this to my daily life as we wait for the rapture.
Dr. Woods, thank you so much for this teaching. It totally cleared this up for me. I have always believed, wrongly, that that scripture applied to the church. I listen to you regularly. Why do not more pastors know the proper way to exegete these scriptures?!! Thank you, again, for your ministry! God Bless you!
So amazing!....I always have a problem when the Rapture of the church is connected to the fig tree prophesy or the jewish holidays. Loved that wonderful explanation.Thank you🙏❤️
Totally agree with you about the rapture and the so-called fig tree generation prophecy relating to "this generation shall not pass away." Frankly, I have thought for a while now that everybody who echoes the traditional misinterpretation of the fig tree generation prophecy simply has it flat out wrong. Square peg, round hole. Torturing the data (scriptures) until it confesses. Always prepared to move the goal posts when the latest definition fails. Thing is, the signs are in fact screaming out a warning that we are in the season, and the rapture could in fact take place any day. However, if it happened today, it wouldn't be because of the misinterpretation of the fig tree generation prophecy, but at that point who would care anyway, right? Now with regard to the rapture potentially having an association to one of the Jewish feast days, I'm not sure I completely agree with you on that one. Consider the fact that the church itself began on Pentecost, one of the appointed times of the Lord for Israel. To me, and my little pea brain mind, it would make perfect sense, with precise symmetrical balance, for the church age to end on the same day that it began, Pentecost. Not saying it has to, but just saying there would be a beautiful poetic symmetry and preciseness that would very much be in line with the character and modus operandi of our Lord. Maranatha!!!
I love to go back and watch ALL of your teachings...and i finally understand the TRUTH about the parable of the fig tree..no more confusion for me..thanks Dr.Andy!
WOW Andy, I can't believe your knowledge, I always pray for wisdom, AND knowledge, but I just can't seem to remember ALL the things you teach, but, nonetheless, truly fascinating...God Bless you and your ministries....🕎
Very interesting. I’ve always been taught and though that Mathew 24 refers to the generation that see Israel become a nation again, (1948) as you stated. I need to study a little more before I agree with this new information but can see where your teaching is helping me understand some unanswered questions. Thank you Brother Woods for your in-depth Analysis. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Man, I don't think I heard anything that said this is not the fig tree generation. Maybe I missed it but it does not seem like there was anything certain that said there is no way this is the fig tree generation
@@CDdogg303 He does say. It is the generation in the second half of the tribulation that will be sustained until Christ comes. He does say that the budding of the fig tree means 1948 though.
@@doncleveland1245 I guess thats my point, unless I am miss understanding you. At the beginning it seemed like he was trying to say no this is not the generation but then never said anything to the contrary. I may have to listen to it again to make sure.
And now I’m confused. I have always been taught differently about “this generation.” Never have any of the prophecy teachers I’ve listened to on Matthew 24 have said it was not meant for the Church and only for the Jews. I will have to look over it all again and pray heavily because I can’t see it now. I was born in November of 1947 only a month and a half from 1948 and always thought it was my generation that wouldn’t pass. Kind of disappointing.😥But it’s 2022 and I’m 74, so I was getting a little concerned😂
This was my first time visiting your channel. Thank you for teaching the truth with accuracy. I happen to also see these verses in the same way that you taught them. This is why we study. This is why we ask the author of scripture to give us a clear understanding and wisdom. The following parallel verses in Luke (to the Matt 24 verses) make it clear that the parable is speaking of the tribulation period - not the rebirth of Israel. (And not during the church age.) The parable is not only about fig tree leaves but also "ALL the trees" (leaves)..."as soon as they put forth leaves..." ALL the tree's leaves come BEFORE summer, just as ALL the signs come BEFORE the second coming of the LORD. If this Parable was about The Rebirth of the nation of Israel... Then it would also seem to be about the rebirth of Every Other Nation. I.e., "...the Fig Tree and all the trees" are putting forth their leaves. Luke 21:28-33 JESUS is speaking "But when these things BEGIN to take place, straighten up and lift your heads, because your (this generation) Redemption is Drawing Near. And HE told them a parable, behold the Fig Tree and ALL the trees; as soon as they put forth leaves, YOU see it and KNOW for yourselves that summer is NOW NEAR. Even so YOU, too, when YOU these things happening, recognize that the Kingdom of GOD is near. Truly I say to you, THIS GENERATION will not pass away until ALL things take place. Heaven and Earth will pass away but MY words will not pass away." Thankfully, the harpazo catches away the church before the time of Jacob's trouble. (This is truly comforting.) It is not possible for the church to see ALL the signs that take place during the Great Tribulation. Praise be to GOD! Maranatha.
I am amazed that I can see that: in Germany I recently have to verify my age if I want to see all of this! and I am 57 and have an Account since years!
Pastor Andy, I have asked before But didn't hear back from Y'all, We are going to be moving to Prescott Az. & I was wondering if You knew of a Church there that I could go to that teaches the same as you do, I heard of a Calvary Chapel there would that be the same ? I🙏 You get back with Me.💓🙏➕🕊
I would like to hear your veiw on the next verses about 2 working in a feild or grinding at the mill.. its a rapture scenario. So i look forward to that
Please note that the following passage of Scripture is often misinterpreted. The Bible in this passage is NOT talking about the Rapture; but rather, the separation of the tares (unsaved) from the wheat (saved) at Christ's Second Coming. Matthew 24:38-42, “For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.” Again, the preceding Bible passage is NOT speaking about the Rapture of the saints; but rather, the separating of the tares from the wheat at the Second Coming of Christ. This truth is evidenced by verses 38-39, likening these unsaved people (tares) with the unsaved who perished in Noah's time. It is clear to me that the tares (unsaved) are removed and not the wheat (saved). Matthew 13:40 confirms that the tares are the unsaved being removed from the earth, and not the righteous (wheat). Matthew 13:40, “As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.” Clearly this is a completely different and separate event than the Rapture, when the saints are removed instead. The Rapture will happen BEFORE the 7-year Tribulation, and then the separation of the tares from the wheat will happen AFTER the Tribulation.
I remember as a child of God in the 40's, having heard that the whole world would hear the gospel. I wondered how that could possibly happen. None of us knew of the internet where the gospel is being preached daily by those that believe the gospel and preach the gospel. First Corinthians 15:1-4. There are a lot of false gospels being preached along with the gospel, but thank God the true gospel is being preached. Galatians 1:6-9. Though we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel unto you than that we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received from us, let him be accursed. False teachers preach another gospel of works salvation. Not the gospel of all grace apart from works for the free gift of eternal life. Romans 4:5. Romans 11:6. Romans 3:26-28. You cannot boast in free. John 3:18. Romans 6:23 For the penalty for sin is death, but the GIFT of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord. The gift of God is eternal life. NOT FAITH. And FAITH is not a work. Romans 4:5. First John 2:2. John 3:18. Love your bible prophesy teaching brother. Not many are preaching it. First Thessalonians 4:18. We are to comfort one another with these words. My wife and I are 81 years old. We just may make it for that blessed hope. First Corinthians 15:51-53.
Ray Charles could see that Matthew 24 is about the nation of Israel and "not" the Church, the body of Christ. If you look in that chapter for the rapture you will find zilch instead.
Quick question, once Jesus brought the blood up to the throne and sat down at the right hand of the Father, how does Satan have the legal right to stand and accuse us to the Father? Wouldn't the finished blood of Christ nullify and repel the enemy?
Thank you Pastor. Very useful. A couple of things I tend to disagree with you and my opinion is this : 1. Not the entire passage is Jewish. A part of it is Jewish. Eg: verse 14 talks obout entire world. The question asked to Jesus was about "His return" and the end of the "world". That is the context. So Mat 24:34 "this generation shall not pass till all these things be fulfilled" is about the "timing" of specific signs he mentioned in the prior verses. Not focused on "if Israel will make it till the end". However it is a subset of the "timing" He is answering about. Moreover If we take your view about verse 34, it should also mean that Israel will pass away once those things are fulfilled. Obviously that is not the case. So Verse 34 assures again on the timing as the context is. Furthermore " this generation shall not pass 'away' " will have a different meaning than " this generation shall not pass" if the context is missed. Furthermore He mentioned "generation", not "Israel" which again assures on the timing as the context is. 2. He also said "no one knows the day or hour, not even the angels of heaven, nor son, but father only". Obviously this isn't about people being in darkness because even the Son and angels don't know the day. Moreover the date of His 2nd coming will be known during Daniel 70th week to many including 144000 protected people, 2 witnesses, Angels etc. Rapture is the only incident for which no one knows the day or hour except the Father. 3. Why He had to mention the parable of "fig" tree ? In Luke 21 "fig tree and all other trees" mentioned. The question still remains. Why He mentioned fig tree there ? The answer is the context. He is answering about the timing of His return with signs. So "fig tree and all the trees" means "Israel and all the nations of prophecy" which points to Ezekiel 38 which is another significant sign along with the fig tree generation which is already a significant sign. So I believe fig tree generation that started in 1948 is one of the most significant signs for the watchmen/believers.
I am more humbled to present my advanced view on Mathew 24:34 and Psalm 90:10. Here we go. Paslm 90:10 itself could be the timeline with or without tying to Mathew 24:34 on the end times. Recently I encountered this. I have a Tamil Bible too that is translated from the original language. It reads Mathew 24:34 as "this generation shall not seize to exist before all these things be fulfilled". I think it is possible that all of the presently existing Bibles (including KJV) have got this wrongly/ambiguously translated. Even so come Lord Jesus take us home soon.
"This generation"didnt mean the 1st century generation. Its about the generation that sees all the matthew 24 signs, once the Gospel has been preached in all the world and then the end comes. The gospel was not preached in all the world in the first century.
I love you Pastor Andy and really love your book on the Kingdom, it's been a great study tool in my library. I have to say though that this video fails to answer specifically what is the "fig tree" and the "leaves." We know based on Ezekiel 36 the importance of Israel being regathered into the land. Allowing scripture to interpret scripture, we see the fig tree used as a symbol of the nation Israel. The term "leaves" in Matthew 24 is derived from the feminine Greek word that means "nation, as in being born." So it seems that it is referring to "Israel being born a nation.". If not, why would God make it so confusing? Plus all the other current signs apparently converging at this time? Lastly, you mentioned Psalm 90 but failed to explain the passage. If Jesus was referring to Israel being born a nation in 1948 and Psalm 90, are we not still in the 70th year of Israel's "birthday?" And wouldn't a 7 year tribulation period for within this theory that a generation is 70 or 80? I definitely could be wrong (probably am) but it certainly seems like the Day of the Lord is fast approaching and we know the rapture is pre-trib.
Yea this has been my understanding as well. To me, it's still in its immenince state if the rapture occurs within these next 10 years. I had originally put it as tribulation ending in 2033
Hello I just want you to know that I enjoy your teaching solo , the other brother is to distracting , please do more solo , love how knowledge you have and how much you are able to keep it simplictic. Do not mean to hurt any ones feeling just being honest . Much love
kathleen, He does teach solo. I think what u interpret as teachings are the PPOV's - a lighter version prophecy analysis review of national and world events where the asst pastor joins in the discussion and reads supporting passages of scripture. I rather like the tone of the two brothers getting along so well and not being so stone-faced like many Christians. Their joy in the Lord and comradre is just an outward sign of the Holy Spirit indwelling.
Rapture Tribulation are most likely simultaneous right? So Olivet and Upper room could both apply if they’re simultaneous. 🌹 But I am so done with dates or seasons. Almost to the point of.......
Okay, I understand now that this all applies to the Jews during the Tribulation. Can you then talk about "no one knows about the day or hour." Since we always thought it referred to the Rapture . . . and the Second Coming will be known to those looking for it because of Daniel's prophecy about blessed is he who endures until (I can't find the specific verse right now. . .) Is that "day or hour" the day of Desolation? Or the day of the Lord's return?
True Matthew 24 is about Jews, and their tribulation. It is also true Saved christians do not enter the tribulation and just before same would get raptured. So indirectly, Matthew 24 also hints at Rapture. Thank LORD God!!
Hello Andy Please excuse me if i respectfully disagree. In Matthew 24, Jesus isn't directly addressing either Israel or the Church imho; rather the disciples 3 questions, in particular, about "the end of the age". A.Frucht explains better than I could ever hope to as he explains from the standpoint of what the Jewish disciples would have understood at that time. I confess that in my view, Arnold is spot on in his fabulous tome "Footsteps of the Messiah" where he deals in depth with this subject on the Olivet Discourse. My main point concerns vs 4-8 where you state that false Christ's (plural, not singular) wars and rumours of wars, nation against nation ... famines, pestilence, earthquakes all "line up specifically..." with the opening of the seals in Revelation 6. I can't agree with this because Jesus made it plain in vs 6 saying "See that - you - are not troubled, for -all- these things must come to pass - but - the end is not yet". To my mind, this must refer to 'sorrows' pre the 7years of horror, else why would Jesus warn His disciples about being troubled because as believers, they wouldn't be going through The Trib anyway. This is also the case for His warning about deception. It is now, prior to the 7 years, that all believers need to be wary. Arnold carefully points out in vs7 that there is one specific sign that marks the beginning of sorrows - ethos against ethnos ... Jewish idiom to mean world wide wars not just local 'wars and rumours of wars' as before. Thus far there has only been WW1&2 in history - the ' beginning of sorrows' suggested by Arnold. These sorrows relate to the way God has always dealt with His rebellious childrenl Leviticus 26 also known as the four sore woes of sword, hunger, death & wild animals regarding God's five cycles of discipline getting progressively worse. Rabbis refer to two ages; the closing of this present 'first' age in preparation for the opening of the 'second' age i.e. the Messianic age. Basically I cannot agree that the context of Matt24:4- are parallels with the seals of Rev6. The 'birth pangs', in my day, were called 'quickenings' just warnings that the birth was imminent. Having given birth four times, I likened it to being able to make the bed when my pangs started; but in Labour I could only lie on the bed. I have wondered if the seals could be likened to the waters breaking when babies arrival wasn't waiting for man nor beast? Hopefully I have expressed myself with the respect that I hold you in?
Great teaching and explanation. I however am still confused about the rapture. Some say yes there will be one before the end and some say no there will be no rapture before the end so I would like to know what scripture is showing a pre trib rapture?
check out his teachings on the book of revelation, specifically the one about chapter 4. The pre trib rapture is absolutely biblical, those who say its not are twisting scripture like the pastor spoke of today. God bless you.
One of the best bible teachings I have ever seen.

He is incorrect about this. Lee Brainerds book Apostasia destroys this idea.

What is Amir's take on this generation??
@@rhoothlutz798I f I understand him, he teaches that the people who see the nation of Israel become a nation are that generation.
Thank you so much for this wonderful teaching, I was confused about this for a long time. It was very clear and informative.
Love how my eyes have been opened since listening to Andy Woods. I was one that was so hoping that the rapture would come in my life time, basing the rapture off of the Olivet Discourse. Thank you for all you do to help people understand the correct interpretation of the bible ❤
Thank you, so soso much!!!!!! Amazing teaching. I needed this insight. God bless you!
Oh, and THANK YOU!!!! for these wonderful teachings. I am following both the Daniel and Revelation studies and absolutely LOVE THEM! God bless you Pastor Woods for doing what He called you to do.
Excellent, Dr Wood.. I will use this in our home group studies..
You are truly the best at teaching the word of God
Master Teacher. Praise God he is obedient to teaching Truth
You are a very good teacher.
yes, right? Something wasn't right. Thank the LORD❤
No worries about gaffs Pastor your a great teacher and I thank you.
Thank you for your detailed explanation on this issue. It helped me a lot.
May I apply this to my daily life as we wait for the rapture.
stay away from macarthur, andy woods does not teach the same gospel as john mac.
@@rinaboffa4512 you're right. John Macarthur is teaching a false gospel.
hooray, most are blinded by this man.
Excellent Teaching
Thank you Dr. Wood! You are a true student of the word!!!!!

Great series of teachings...and this one especially was fabulously done!
Good to have this explanation, because 60 years ago, those who I respected had it out of context!
Thank you for helping me see this more clearly...
Thank you Dr. Woods, for your insight into this issue. It has become a massive topic since Israel has miraculously reappeared on the world map! Amen.
I love to go back and watch ALL of your teachings...and i finally understand the TRUTH about the parable of the fig tree..no more confusion for me..thanks Dr.Andy!
I love your INTENTIONAL gaff!

WOW Andy, I can't believe your knowledge, I always pray for wisdom, AND knowledge, but I just can't seem to remember ALL the things you teach, but, nonetheless, truly fascinating...God Bless you and your ministries....🕎
Wonderful and very helpful! Thank you so much!
Have never been told this before but can see what you are saying, will pray about this thank you and Gods bless

Wow, I know this has been awhile since you did this teaching but what a settled spirit it gives.

Yay , what an awesome surprise.
Thank you, thank you Dr. Woods.
me, too
Man, I don't think I heard anything that said this is not the fig tree generation.
(And not during the church age.)
The parable is not only about fig tree leaves but also "ALL the trees" (leaves)..."as soon as they put forth leaves..."
ALL the tree's leaves come BEFORE summer, just as ALL the signs come BEFORE the second coming of the LORD.
If this Parable was about The Rebirth of the nation of Israel... Then it would also seem to be about the rebirth of Every Other Nation.
I.e., "...the Fig Tree and all the trees" are putting forth their leaves.
Luke 21:28-33
JESUS is speaking
"But when these things BEGIN to take place, straighten up and lift your heads, because your (this generation) Redemption is Drawing Near. Heaven and Earth will pass away but MY words will not pass away."
Thankfully, the harpazo catches away the church before the time of Jacob's trouble. (This is truly comforting.)
It is not possible for the church to see ALL the signs that take place during the Great Tribulation.
Praise be to GOD!
Maranatha.

He address that in his rapture series and it’s incredible.

Good
I like it. I like your shirt too.
Ray Charles could see that Matthew 24 is about the nation of Israel and "not" the Church, the body of Christ. If you look in that chapter for the rapture you will find zilch instead.
lol :)
This was helpful and makes sense. It takes away from the imminence of the rapture if we say 1948 or '67. Thank you!
Quick question, once Jesus brought the blood up to the throne and sat down at the right hand of the Father, how does Satan have the legal right to stand and accuse us to the Father? Wouldn't the finished blood of Christ nullify and repel the enemy?
Thank you Pastor. Very useful. A couple of things I tend to disagree with you and my opinion is this :
Amen
Thanks, brother.
Agreed
I am more humbled to present my advanced view on Mathew 24:34 and Psalm 90:10. Here we go. Paslm 90:10 itself could be the timeline with or without tying to Mathew 24:34 on the end times.
Recently I encountered this. I have a Tamil Bible too that is translated from the original language. It reads Mathew 24:34 as "this generation shall not seize to exist before all these things be fulfilled". I think it is possible that all of the presently existing Bibles (including KJV) have got this wrongly/ambiguously translated.
Even so come Lord Jesus take us home soon.
@@TOLEndTimesCan you watch this again Bro Chooch ....and do a blog on it please

"This generation"didnt mean the 1st century generation. Its about the generation that sees all the matthew 24 signs, once the Gospel has been preached in all the world and then the end comes. The gospel was not preached in all the world in the first century.
Question, will they be eating, drinking and getting married when God’s wrath being poured out?
I had originally put it as tribulation ending in 2033

kathleen, He does teach solo.

🌹
But I am so done with dates or seasons.
Hello Andy
Please excuse me if i respectfully disagree.
Hey Pastor why cant the generation born during the time after Israel's rebirth in 1948 still be true since in this lesson?
Great teaching and explanation. I however am still confused about the rapture. Some say yes there will be one before the end and some say no there will be no rapture before the end so I would like to know what scripture is showing a pre trib rapture?
check out his teachings on the book of revelation, specifically the one about chapter 4. The pre trib rapture is absolutely biblical, those who say its not are twisting scripture like the pastor spoke of today. God bless you.
search "andy woods rapture" - many videos will pop up
