Embedding wax into a wired frame

I love the technique of pressing the wax between 2 boards.. I never seen that technique on any other channels!! Thank you for posting!! Nova Scotia Canada I can not wait to try that method this yr when our season starts!

The pressing is just to ensure full contact along the length of the wire after the wire has been heated. It’s a common enough technique.

Maybe have the wire facing up to control how far the wax embeds into the wire as it will visible. The pressure of the bottom board on the wax should be sufficient.
