This came on my tablet , I was so intrigued with you explaining, and painting beautiful roses ,I now am ready to go to sleep , in fact I’m trying to stay awake long enough to see the finished masterpiece, your voice is very calming .I have put this in my saved box .I want to try to do this when I’m well again .Thank you for your wonderful video David .I cannot tell you how much it has helped me to day.

And yet I appreciate this beautiful tutorial, thank you David. It s my style of painting, and I already looked up the suggested acrylic paints, Heritage Acrylic Paints should sponsor the video, never the consumer. It will be my next art supplies purchase. I will get myself a basic 12 colors palette with cool and warm primaries and the usual others.

I love to draw, and sketch, and paint, and doodle. And during my convalescence, I am learning from the many 'art videos' that I watch. You are highly gifted. And the flow of your gifting seems to casually fall upon your students because your methods and teachings are so practical in the impartation: you make it incredibly easy, in so much that, your lessons would be hard to miss. I have watched this particular video lesson before, and here I am again. Simply, you are the best. Thanks. ❤☺

I am thoroughly impressed with Mr. Jansen’s artistic ability. In just a matter of minutes he had a beautiful painting of pink, cabbage roses. His voice and instructions were extremely easy to listen to and follow and I especially liked the fact that he uses only 6 colors and just a few brushes, which will limit my initial investment. I have hastily noted the brand, “Heritage”, that he prefers and recommends and brush sizes he used. I will be trying my hand this weekend to put his instructions to use and hope with a lot of practice, that I too will enjoy this art form.

I've always wanted to paint, but always been to scared to start so I just watch videos instead... this video is my favourite! I actually feel emotional after watching it... how can something so beautiful be painted in just 30mins.. you are amazing!

Thank you Kelly. You can paint it is so much fun. I always say to myself... "Try new things, it is only a bit of paint and a board". Give it a try! You can do it. 😀

Just found you! I am trying to combine my love of painting with my love of cake decorating. I haven't painted for quite a while. So need some refreshers. Buttercream icing is much like your paints. But a palette knife is much different than a brush. So more practice to get the look I am going for. But you have been extremely helpful on my adventure of mixing the two!
    Many thanks!❤

Thanks Marie. I have several who study with me and apply it to cake decoration.
