Eductor part is wrong mate.. illustration should be 1 from liquid goes to eductor, 1 line from buttom of the barrel or evaporator and 1 line back to suction line.. this kind of oil management is almost the same of rtac unit. Oil from buttom barrel then back to compressor
Thank you, after I finished it and released it I realized I made a mistake on that part. What I will have to do is make a separate correction video doing a better job on that.
@@HVACTIME yvaa has some changes depends on coil either copper coil or micro channel. Copper condenser coil the drain valve control by liquid level sensor at evaporator whereas with micro channel coil they dont have liquid level sensor at evaporator. I have few yvaa unit that i maintain here in the island
Economizer opens based on comp frequency. Our YVAA now does not have check valves in the econ pipe, because our newer software allows for Economizer backflow control.
Love the video! Everything was perfectly explained but I would like to add, there is not a “DRAIN VALVE” on the flash tank leaving line to evap. Now there is a shut off but not an eev device.
Ran into a yciv today for the first time. I'm used to working on rack refrigeration, needless to say I was all kinds of turned around. This video made it all so clear to me now. I'll be working on it again later this week... Atleast I'm armed with some knowledge now. Thanks a ton! 🍻
I hope to one day understand and be proficient at troubleshooting equipment like this. This type of equipment is what i get up and get going for. I love this trade
You posted this at a perfect time for me ! I just finished going over a few yvaa’s with my journeyman this past couple days. Love the videos keep it up!
Thank you very sir, really fantastic explanation, could you please provide more theatrical explanation , how FD working and collect oil from the cycle.
You know I'm glad you said something, I made a mistake on my YVAA rundown. There is not a drain valve after the flash tank. It uses the "condenser drain valve" aka the feed valve only. I will need to make that correction some how.
I have same unit YCIV micro channel cond coil.im facing problem in drain valve not giving the exact position when I put manually put it to 100% open and 0% closed, when it run it having alarm low suction limiting and unusual sound of the compressor.i suspect the stipper motor module so I tried to swap from other unit but still problem occur.unit shutdown low suction pressure. Any advice

All of mine have micro channel.

@FILIPINO WONDER'S yvaa sir?
after watching this video, my basic dx chiller cycle clear , thanks a lot HVAC time

I was going crazy looking for that thing lol. Glad I came to comments

Bro thank you so much man. I just got a job as a facilities engineer and this stuff is hard for me to fully grasp. Thank you for breaking this down.

I love your videos. Great info!!
need a separate video on edector system
Thank you for these videos. HVAC Gold.
Great video the chiller I have seen Model YVAA fix orifice instead drain valve (EEX)

hi. do you have a video on the channel on how to properly replace the oil on the York YVAA chiller?
How to remove suction line from the barrack or cooler can u explained me pls
It would be awesome to see a video on a daikin screw. In particular how the capacity slides valves work in detail.
it may be superheat which controls the slide valve which is typically what loads a screw compressor
Hi please there is leaked in evaporater. How can I repair it only in Cerkit 1 thanks
How to change York chiller reciprocating oil heater old compressor
Can you change the EXV motor on these chillers without removing the Freon
Pls. Look into enhancing the video lighting. Thanks

Sir how to change oil in YVAA fladed chiller
Nice video brother...My VSD assembly in YVAA got burned. What could be the reason
Awesome vedio :) i think the stupid thing in this system it dont have feed back in valve position

Extremely common for the exv gears to where out and stick causing it to get out of calibration. Recommend replacing exv.
Sir chiller displays show vsd communication failure fault what is the problem
Great Video!
Thanks for really informative video.
great explanation
Very useful information
very useful information, thank you very much.
after watching all the chiller videos on you tube, you have found where the BEAR SHIT IN THE WOODS...thank you. great VIDEO.
Can you explain exactly what the economizer valve does? Is it cooling the compressor or reducing compression ratio?
Its pulling flash gas to reduce pressure on the flash tank.
That was what i was thinking as well
Wouldnt happen to have a York YCUL080 air cooled service manual you could email could you?
Amazing video brother, kindly explain same to Trained cvhe or cvhf water cooled chiller . Thanks
Coming Soon!
@@HVACTIME thanks
Great info thank you 👍
Sir i have carrier chiller with water cooled condenser is it possible to convert to air cooled condenser.
I would heavily advise not to try
Hey, great video thanks for taking the time to do them.
Question. if I'm understanding right the drain valve is the metering device?
At its core yes, It is the final flash point that is controlling evap superheat. But the feed valve also plays a critical role in that as well.
@@HVACTIME I understand now. Thanks for the quick response!
Hello brother how to reset alarm on this chiller
You do it through the system switches menu
Have you had a oil separator on a YCAV start to plug up?
No haven't ran into that one
good job
Good stuff
