i think the shade of shoes can be slightly different without causing too many problems, but I think white is probably quite safe! its an odd one because white shoes can look a bit off. shoes are one f those things you keep having to buy different colors of haha but if you get some from Bodyline they don't have to be expensive! good luck! xox
Alright, thanks for answering my question! I do think white shoes might look odd with white socks but could look okay with colored socks. Black/brown shoes for classic or gothic seems like a no-brainer (plus black shoes go with most outfits), but I was mainly concerned about sweet because "neutral" shoes like that wouldn't work!
I have discovered that a pair of golden shoes go well with everything and also bring a creative aura to your look. They look good most of the time and make a look go from basic to stylish. Probably a pair of black and one of gold would go great.

I told my mom today that I really liked Lolita fashion and I’ve been wanting to wear it for a while and I don’t know how your mom will react it feels a lot better not having to keep that interest back :) ❤️🥰
I am also just getting into lolita fashion, but if you have a hard time wearing dresses, maybe considered the more masculine form of lolita which is ouji? its the same idea, but instead of dresses and skirts its like pants and shorts.

I've always wanted to dress/be a victorian lolita but I'm only a sophomore in high school and don't have money to throw around lol I do have a few old styled dresses and some cutesy looking flower crowns and gloves though. I always thought it would be fun to try out.

Also I ordered the chocolate bear dress in green from souffle song and because I’m ten and sizing doesn’t work for most things I obviously got it custom but I’m getting black shoes and socks to go with it and I know that doesn’t match the dress but I can’t really get proper lolita shoes and I also want to know if that would be considered a sweet lolita outfit especially with the black not being a very sweet color from what I’ve seen also sorry that this is a run on sentence snd sorry if you see a bunch of my comments on different videos.
Im trying to dress in fairy kei, pastel goth, lolita etc. But i feel to scared to wear this kind of stuff in public I don't want ppl to judge me. what do i do
The thing is, people will judge everything and anything. We just have to get over it, we cant stop people judging, we just have to learn to have a thicker skin. It is hard at first, but you get use tonight! And it's always fun to find friends in the fashion too!
i mean, you can wear what you like! it is just proper in lolita to wear a headpiece of some sort with your dress and shoes. but its fashion, so its free!
I love your style I’ve never worn any Lolita but I’m soooo interés we un buying a dress but I really don’t know where?? I saw a lot of fakes and it makes me nervous to buy 😢 but I want to do a bridal shower wearing Lolita attire what site or stores do you buy your clothes at?
@@UnicornPrincess One piece of advice, stay away from Milanoo. They scam people and steal images. Their clothes are mediocre at best but are overall rubbish. I say again, STAY AWAY FROM MILANOO!
Its so hard to find sweet lolita clothing in kids sizes. Even though kawaii means childish cute. Even if I do find kids sweet lolita clothes, websites are usually non reliable. Do you have any tips or recommendations for my problem?
Hi there! Kawaii actually doesn't mean childish, just aesthetically cute and cute in attitude and behavior. Its morelike charming or darling! The reason you may find it hard to find lolita in children's sizes is because lolita is aimed at adults, it is a form of high fashion and so is made from delicate and often expensive material which is not really suitable for young children to wear :C Its a little like putting a child in a two grand runway garment haha. I have looked but I have never found any retailer catering to children, unfortunately :C There was a woman in Japan who made replicas of Angelic Pretty dresses for her own daughter but other than that it doesn't seem to be available. So i guess having them made is an option? but it would likely be quite expensive, OH there is a very small selection on Bodyline for children > bodyline.co.jp/en/kid/lol.html#page=1&top=2& But thats all I can find. Sorry I couldnt be of more help :C
I love the look of Lolita but I hate wearing dresses, shorts or heels and I have pretty short hair. Is there anywhere that sells Lolita trousers and flat shoes?
You can totally wear flat shoes with lolita! Popular flat shoes are called tea party shoes, you can get them from most lolita brands from bodyline to Angelic Pretty! And trousers aren't really a lolita thing, I suppose a lolita ish equivalent would be dandi or ouji? Which are like prince styles. And short hair is super cute! Short hair is actually considered sweeter in japan, like bobed hair? You can always wear a wig if you dont like your own hair too :3
well, unfortunately Lolita can be quite expensive and If you dont make your own money It might be a little unfair just to ask your parents for lolita stuff, so what I would suggest is maybe ask to do chores and things to build up some money and save up that way, then buy from places like Bodyline that arent to expensive! then I can't see why it would be a problem! you can wear your own clothes that you saved up for with your own money :3 x
If you search up “kawaii skirts” and stuff you can buy some woman’s lolilita skirt in extra small for rly cheap, also knew high socks for everyone, are pretty cheap and look super cute
I turned ten just days ago, I want to get into Lolita too! I’m attempting to make most of my outfit, since my mom loves sewing and would help me with making stuff. If you know anyone that sews I would suggest that!
tbh i'm afraid to wear this styled stuff, well, not scared but more nervous... I like standing out and weird looks oddly fuel me to wear more odd clothing. But i'm afraid of the reaction of my family and friends
I understand that. Being nervous about being judged is very normal. I guess for me it's like, if I live my life not doing things because I'm scared of the possible judgement of others, I'd never do anything I love! You only live once (probably) so I try to do everything I want so I dont waste it!
I really want to try lolita ,i have 2 sides of me tho ,one side is all cats Pink lolita stuff but the other side is more of an emo so..idk what to dooo
Hi! :D I'm trying to get into Lolita and I had a question about shoes. I'm the kind of guy who basically only wears big shoes, like an additional 5-7 inches kind of big. I wanted to know if you could possibly wear platforms with Lolita too? I was thinking Kera-08 or Poison-99-2 for sweet Lolita and something like Demon-11 for gothic Lolita from Demonia might fit the styles. If it's not allowed by the fashion then that's totally okay, I'm just a little insecure about my height, so I wanted to check if it was alright before I bought any more platforms just to go with Lolita. Thanks for taking the time to read this :3
im gonna focus on making some income so i can afford this style of clothing, ims uper dooper short like 4'8 and i already look so childish and always wanted to have this style but you know as a 17 year old girl is really hard to afford the style... WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE EXPENSIVE TO BE CUTEEE aaah i dont knowwww hehe you look really cute and these should help
Awh sorry I didnt see this! Im short too XD 5 foot 1! And i get what you mean with the super young thing too. I wear certain kinds of make up to make me look a bit older then I think its totally fine!
So my mom doesn’t trust the internet so I can’t shop online..I also don’t know how to sew. And I can’t go shopping because I’m antisocial and a introvert like a home cat who hates human. And my mom doesn’t have enough time to send me to the mall. Even if I go to the mall there’s no Lolita dresses so is there any tips to get/make a Lolita dress or some type of way because I really love the dresses but I can’t
Hi! well, I might suggest a few things that might take you out of your comfort zone. Lolita is really noticeable and different, so if you wear it, the chances are that it will draw some attention. If you are shy, it might be difficult for you to wear lolita at first but this might be a good thing! pushing your comfort zone may well help you with your introverted-ness! It is also quite a sociable hobby, and while I dont do group socializing often, while in lolita it's really good to meet people with similar interests :3 As for actually buying stuff, if you're not allowed to buy things online there are lolita conventions that sell dresses and have swap meets! find and join some lolita fashion groups on facebook, find people in the fashion in your area and you can simultaneously make new friends who share your interests AND find out about events and meets where you could get some dresses! The other option is to learn to sew! it's not super hard, and making your own clothes is super cool XD If you're really interested in Lolita fashion, networking and making friends in the community is a really good idea. and coming out of your comfort zone and learning new skills is also a good idea! I hope you find some of this helpful!
This is a good video to watch for a beginner lolita, I'm like so worry if I'm not perfectly dress like a lolita 😓, especially when I'm not good at matching colors. 😓😓😓

I think the concept of the "Lolita " is gross and comes from pedophilia. Dressing up as a sexy child, when you are adult is creepy. This is the definition of Lolita: " Lolita and loli are terms used to portray young girls as "precociously seductive."[1] The term derives from Vladimir Nabokov's novel Lolita, which describes the narrator's sexual obsession and subsequent sexual abuse of a 12-year-old girl named Dolores, whose nickname was Lolita.[2]" so what the fuck are you doing!???? Here is my response - I think it would be good for you to * look into your shit* you are grossly uneducated in this subject, but I don't blame you, it's common. Let me help.
1) that "definition" is inaccurate and an English bastardization of a nickname for Dolores in a Russian written, french translated book. What you describe is actually called nymphet and is explained so in the book.
2) pedophilia is a psychiatric disorder where peoples primary attraction is to prepubescent children, not fully grown adults dressing in cute clothes
3) you cannot make a healthy/ regular person become a pedophile with clothing, just like you can't make a man rape a woman because she was wearing a short skirt.

Unicorn Princess Thanks
As my wise mother once said "if you can't be the smartest in the room be the best dressed!"
Question, what do you think the age range is for dressing in lolita fashion? Just a wuestion
i just started making and wearing lolita and this helps and do you have to wear bloomers i am still pretty new to it
Oh my gosh I have the *exact* same pair of shoes are waiting in my online shopping cart!!! 😍😍😍
Haha they are great shoes!!
Love your video make me happy 😊
I think I have this blouse! It's so cute, it got everything on it haha!
Does it still count if you only wear a op or jsk? I like some dresses online but I don´t really wanna wear any head/hair pieces, is that ok?
i mean, you can wear what you like! it is just proper in lolita to wear a headpiece of some sort with your dress and shoes. but its fashion, so its free!
@@UnicornPrincess Ok thank you, and I did find one with a hair piece I like :)
Lovely24by7 sorry for the late reply but lacemarket is great for 2nd habd stuff and bodyline is great for cheap stuff!
Sorry I couldnt be of more help :C
p.s Kawaii is also anything that makes you feel love or care towards it so, a puppy might be kawaii and also a girl you like!
Sawing... Can give you some ideas..
I want your plushies, I love them ❤
What do you do if you have boy short hair.(I don't wanna wear wigs so is there anything I can do?) (or do you think I'm way over thinking it?)
You can always wear a wig if you dont like your own hair too :3
I just love your accent XD!!!
Are you Scottish? I went to Edinburgh in 2017 that's how I recognize the accents. I love Scotland!!!
Haha yep! I grew up on the Lothian aria on the outskirts of Edinburgh! Where did you visit in Edinburgh? Xox
It is very helpful for me!
I really want to wear Lolita but I’m only 9....
What should I do?
well, unfortunately Lolita can be quite expensive and If you dont make your own money It might be a little unfair just to ask your parents for lolita stuff, so what I would suggest is maybe ask to do chores and things to build up some money and save up that way, then buy from places like Bodyline that arent to expensive! then I can't see why it would be a problem! you can wear your own clothes that you saved up for with your own money :3 x
Unicorn Princess thank you I think that’s a great idea!
@@Hi-gh8lh yeey! I'm glad I could help
Where did you get your blouse from? Is it angelic pretty?
Yeh! I think it's the candy sprinkle blouse from the lucky pack!
Thanks for your reply! 💓
@@CosmiBee no problem!

I actually wear 3 XD 1 from ebay and 2 from bodyline! They aren't great, honestly I would reccomend classical puppets, thers are the best XD
very well explained
Well thank you! ♡
Nice, and beutiful fashion lesson thank you 🥰
Thanks for taking the time to read this :3
Do you know the pink panther?
im gonna focus on making some income so i can afford this style of clothing, ims uper dooper short like 4'8 and i already look so childish and always wanted to have this style but you know as a 17 year old girl is really hard to afford the style...
It is also quite a sociable hobby, and while I dont do group socializing often, while in lolita it's really good to meet people with similar interests :3
As for actually buying stuff, if you're not allowed to buy things online there are lolita conventions that sell dresses and have swap meets! find and join some lolita fashion groups on facebook, find people in the fashion in your area and you can simultaneously make new friends who share your interests AND find out about events and meets where you could get some dresses!
The other option is to learn to sew! it's not super hard, and making your own clothes is super cool XD If you're really interested in Lolita fashion, networking and making friends in the community is a really good idea. and coming out of your comfort zone and learning new skills is also a good idea!
I hope you find some of this helpful!
Where can you buy them cheak online T^T
I wish there was a Lolita japenese dress shop in america for kids 😢 My sister always wanted to wear Lolita and she gets mad when we say no,
Cute coord
Kawaii Puff thank you!

It's an outfit! Its short for coordination as in, to coordinate clothes to make an outfit!
