- Off to the local to hunt a few Mackerel this afternoon before the Autumn storms come in. The Currumbin Bar sucks at the moment so we need to sneak up past the north wall, up past Lacey's and out near the lifeguard tower. Heaps happening out on the water with some good fish caught.

I literally have no idea how to catch fish out there.
I’m used to catching yellowbelly
Jigging up some livies is the best option. For dead baits, pilchards are a good start. Size 3 or 4 hook and some 27lb single strand wire.
