- tool Bucket VS Veto tool bag? A look at two types of tool bags on total cost at 25$ and the other 280$. The buckey in the viedo was free but the jacket for the bucket and lid was a husky brand at Homedepot and the Veto Pro Pac Build-out Bag. let check it out.

I have a bucket now I’ve gone through so many bags , boxes , wagon systems etc. bucket is best to be near and organizized and not loose tools.
I also installed two loops on the side and use a shoulder strap on bucket. It’s great.
That's a great idea! is it heavy to have on a strap?
@@GONETOOLING no more than any other tool bag.
You totally stuck the landing on the intro! 10/10. Great video, too. I used a bucket for the first couple years, now I have a few Veto bags. I still occasionally bring in the bucket bag in addition to Veto
cool thanks, and yeah the bucket is something always good to have lol
Throw trash in the bottom of my tool bucket? Never!
Been using a Bucket Boss 44 for decades. I just put a tips video on my channel about it. No room for trash in there. And I would not disrespect my beloved tool bucket like that anyway. Any guy worth his salt rolls up a few trash bags and brings them with.
Backpack does not work for me as a residential handyman. Also: that bucket topper is nice and all, but you put something as basic as a hammer or 2 ft level in the bucket and the topper doesn’t fit. But your point about climbing stairs with tools: I could see backpack being advantageous.
Me gusta mucho el video ,gracias por darse un tiempo para hacer videos
lol mucha graca
I imagine you take the elevator to rooftops and use a Segway because you’re out of breath from just talking.😂😂
You can strap your backpack on while riding your Segway but without your bucket where are you going to sit down?
Hahaha that's the dream elevators and Segway
That intro was hilarious, I cant use subpar tool bags. The husky stuff is actually a great deal and if someone doesnt want to spend the money it works great but I love my veto bags.
thank you. and yeah your right.
I have a 16” toughbuilt tool tote. I’m learning I’ll need another smaller bag to hold less gear. I’m looking at local used market like offer up and fb marketplace for tool holding but I’m only a home owner, not a professional. Husky seems to be sold often for cheap so that’s the route I’ll likely go just because as much as I want a veto the price is hard to justify
understandable no need to break the bank just for a brand.
I have several veto propacs mb1, mb2, mb3, tech bags and such. I have the set up for different tasks. I started almost 25 years ago with the bucket boss. Like you said I found myself overloading it with tools and parts to the point I had it strapped to a dolly. The only thing I miss about the bucket is being able to sit on it. Okay and the fact that with the nicer bag you fill it with nicer tools. They steal your bucket your out $150 tools and all. They steal your veto your out $600 easy including those wera’s and flukes.
yeah that is true the having to bucket to sit when and where ever you want is a nice thing to have and yeah. and yeah there is always some one that would take tools no matter a bucket or veto and yeah it would be a bigger lost with a veto.
I've looked at every option for rooftop work and carrying my computer everywhere. For me the veto pro pac lt was ideal
That's true!
Take a bucket onto a residential construction site, and your buddy will drill it into the subfloor or fill it with rocks
Hahaha I could definitely see that happen hahah
@@GONETOOLING so come to think about it maybe a tool bucket is as plumber aka want to be electrician wouldn't be a terrible idea they have a lot of large material and tools to carry that a bucket could accommodate as well as easy access to an extra bucket of s*** goes south quick
@@GONETOOLING also I don't do this because I just use the bottom of my Klein Tools Master backpack as a trash can but you can do a residential service and you have a trash can with you
that is true!
yeah i see what you mean there are always those moments that go south quick hahaha
I like the bucket, cause I can use it as a toilet in the field lmao 😝
Lol thats too funny
I like to get bucket ass while cleaning boilers and indoor coils. So, no bag for me…
Also, i just drape a trash bag over it if i get stuck in the rain. For real, how does the bag hold up from getting wet?
lol i see you point and im going to be honest and yeah they are not waterproof but they help not get everything wet but they still get wet lol
10/10 intro
Thank you!
Very nice intro.. LOL
Thank you!
Veto tech pac
Lol yeah it the best lol
@@GONETOOLING I have had another back pack before this one and by far the veto is more comfortable with the weight of the tools
