    Ive had the opposite ones, tech pac MC Blackout and regular tech pac. For me the MC came close to the same amount of tools but lighter and smaller. Weirdly i found the front pocket on the MC larger than the tech pac. The hook on the bag was missed on the MC version for me though, loved using it when i needed it.

    • @americanelectrician
      @americanelectrician  5 месяцев назад

      The adjustable front pouch is the biggest thing for me on the outside. The hook as well. They are both great options tho love the bags

    I have a veto pro pac and its tough as nails (4 years so far) but HEAVY (10 pounds empty) and i really want something with clamshells for meters and PPE - i was looking at the fluke pack30 but the reviews (even on the fluke site!) all say that it falls apart quickly.
    Looking at the fieldpiece BG44 but it seems like it might be a lil small, idk maybe i need to minimize my tool load!
    Also NOTHING carrys zip ties or sockets very well - my current solution is canvas zip bags. It's okay, not ideal.
    Great bag I'm just looking for something better that can store extra sets of leads, clips, etc without having them come close to hand tools or be in a zippered pocket thats a huge mess! I wish the pack30 was tougher because it looks ideal!

    I’m thinking about the TechPack MC . ATM , I’m using a TP6B , And a TPXXL ! They make good stuff ; that said at age 73 , I prefer , and gravitate towards the smaller models !

      I definitely wouldn’t go with the techpac at 73. The MC is more manageable. Personally I carry a tp3 or my tplc daily. Way I figure walking back to the truck is good cardio anyway. lol.

    I got the tech pac in hiviz orange a couple of months ago. The only gripe I have is that it has too much room! lol I’m constantly trying to fill it up then take everything out because it gets too heavy. Even at its heaviest it never tips over. Something my Klein did no matter how light it was. Don’t regret spending the money!

    • @americanelectrician
      @americanelectrician  5 месяцев назад

      It’s so worth the money. I know I do the same thing. I put way too much and then take stuff out but I love the way it looks full lol

      I'm a plumber, and currently have the Klein backpack. I really like way my tools fit I'm it, but I would like something larger as I'm always walking back to the truck for things. I'm wondering if I need to go right for the bigger bag and I don't necessarily need to fill it or will the smaller MC bag be better?
      The floppy Klein is super annoying but I do love a backpack tool bag

      Yes it's literally 10min video about 3 extra pockets, extra magnet and size in general.
      Just open it, say it's bigger, this is how many tools you can fit here and here, and price, that's it. Noone cares about story of each pocket and how it changed your life.

      @@americanelectrician got the one with the straps on,,totally waste of time as it has wheels so why carry it,,I removed theses and gained the additional pocket that you had to tuck the straps in yes warranty is void but I’ve never had issue with any veto bag in nearly ten years of owning them, I’ve got the tech xl bag yes expensive but with the swap out panels and build quality def worth the money,,it has the ability to also consume tools and does weigh a far bit once loaded as I tend to put all tools in that covers me for any task plus keeps it all safely stored.
