@@TheBarry1394 the early stock version did have something like that, the later upgraded one's would have over 900HP, 0-100 in less than 2 seconds and I haven't seen anything on top speed but 900HP should allow you to go quite fast. Not a mechanic or knowledgeable on the subject but I'd guess 400km/h atleast.

I don't know about hands and feet but I've read that the with the speeds they were going and the winding roads they were driving, the last Group B cars were hitting the limit of how fast a drivers eyeball can focus to different distances.

We can shit on electronics all day, and most of the time we are right, but going that fast on a unpaved road that narrow, with the torque of a truck, the power of a racecar, the grip of a bicycle and people in the middle of your path, with jumps and everything, with nothing but "raw experience" it's almost impossible to avoid crashes. No electronics is good until the car is not excessively reactive, then it gets very complicated and being us humans, we have a limit to how quick we can react, and we don't know for sure how much is it
The driving skills at the end. Sliding sideways around the curve and straightening it up right before the barriers. Both guys didn’t even Flench. That is how a race is driven. Nerves of Steel with a big dose of risk for the glory.

Europe is filled with engines 1.0L (3cyl) and even less, so disgusting. They might amp the displacement up, but they didn't said about how much. As i look back, even Trabant or Wartburg is more fun to drive, then nowadays downsized stuff. Mainly because its revvy and only two stroke. I strongly disbelive fact, that they will amp it up the sky, because of the restrictest restricts on CO² emisions (shit they know in Brusel about enviroment). As with everything, nowadays/future things won't be built to last, but to profit in limited time (5 years, give or take).
