Hi davie. I like the idea of boot lace to splot the wing. Very nice pattern again. Do you think you could possibly tie a boot lace culdi. Old capa was showing me it n it worked wonders as a substitute to cdc. Regards stevie

I have some on the way so I will be fishing it this season so I'll let you know how I get on with it if you haven't use it yourself as it has been out for many years...I've attached links to both of them for you to look at... U Dave you have a unique way of tying especially specific patterns take this pattern you just tied Iam so positive this pattern would work in New York Catskills, Iam going to tie it I’ll let you know what happens, can’t wait, there are always flies that get u excited👌
Considering its been 7 years since you tied this particular pattern Davie, it's still a great pattern, of which I can think of no ways it could be improved? Eh but if it ain't broken why try a fix. He he have a great season. Keep your threads and lines tight.
