Chase Eagleson is best known for his work on his RUclips channel covering popular songs in an acoustic style and performing original music. Chase took formal guitar and drum lessons in his early teens for a couple years, but eventually continued self-teaching new instruments, singing and music production. Just discovered your music yesterday while sitting in a hospital waiting room while my elderly dad was having surgery for broken neck vertebrae after a fall, on top of multiple other health issues that required placement in a care home last year. Last year at this time my mom had just had open heart surgery for the second time. Then sister was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer in December. Mother in law died in January. Sigh. Nothing but train wrecks in the past year. I had never heard this song before but it was so perfectly beautiful for me right now. I found the original song, & honestly I like your rendition better! You & your sister have such God-given gifts of music-just blown away. Thank you!

@@gamerdog2781 Thank you for asking! Well my dad went to Heaven just before Christmas, but it was a blessing really. He survived the first surgery but due to his dementia, he fell out of his wheelchair & then out of a bed on Thanksgiving, suffering 2 different brain hematomas. His last month was just sad, & I was so relieved when he was finally free of it all. My mom was relieved also & is doing relatively well, & my sister is still hanging in there on treatment. God is good & has blessed us abundantly! May He bless you & your family as well!

This cover is so underrated. The way he sings this song is so beautiful, I can't stop listening to it and not be mesmerized. And his guitar playing.....phenomenal!
I' made it thru 13 of your covers & this is the one that brought me to tears. Shocked me bcuz I wasn't even expecting that to resonate so deeply with me. Always liked john mayers original but you took it a whole other level. Ur interpretation of it was so deeply moving. U capture that residual sadness that often lingers when ur childhood is over & ur leaving home. Watching all the years go by & seeing your parents getting older knowing ur time with them is limited. That twinge of sadness that comes with the realization that you can't go back again. My father passed 30 yrs ago I was only 22 and a new parent myself. He's missed over half of my life. Sometimes i wish if for just a little while, I could go back to when he was alive just to talk & laugh with him, to hug him one more time. Id make sure to hold onto him tighter, hug him a little bit longer. 💔

Recently finished bachelors degree, I don't have a clue what am I gonna do with my life. Feels like I am not old enough to be responsible for so many things & accept the role that society has for me. And covid-19 also has shattered every plan that I had. It's like world is moving so fast and I standing still without anywhere to go. So, I can feel this song from deep part of my soul.
