I suggested to them smooth up in ya hard as a rock kissing Kitty shoot the preacher down told them basically that whole album was really good I did get to see them live opening up a three band lineup bullet boys open they were killer winger come up next they were sucky I thought they'd be better because of their hits but they just weren't as good life then Cinderella on the other hand oh my God that place went insane and the roof of the stadium arena was blown off
You guys have never heard BulletBoys shame shame😅 I saw them during their first tour and they were great live Winger was in the middle after them Cinderella during the long cold winter tour headlined and just Cinderella was just beyond amazing but songs you should check off from that tour from the BulletBoys album are hard as a rock smooth up in ya shoot the preacher down kissing Kitty basically the whole day gone album is great little rated for Lulu LOL a couple of the songs I mentioned don't leave anything to your imagination to know what they're singing about but they are very cool band guys
I saw them during 1989 February the BulletBoys open they were real good life Winger in the middle I hate to say it sucked the BulletBoys who opened were better Cinderella blew the roof off the place we're incredible
yay!! Smooth Up was their big single.... album came out about 1987.... my personal favorite and friends... Marq and the lead singer ive got to meat with MY daughter when she was 10 at a band party in LA where a mural was painted for them for a reunion show at the Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood. She met their kids and I respected their break up for a decade when Lonnie the bass player and Marq had kids to raise during critical years like i did.... both dealing with personal custody issues so we share some difficult things too.... a truly loving and friendly and very emotional lead singer keeps playing TODAY and sounds wonderful.... maybe cant quite hit exactly the notes he used too, but hes got the moves.... and has had dk brown black hair for years now... my 14 yrs in LA i got to meet so many of my favorites and you learn who is kind and who you genuinely like as people... after watching your channel i thought THIS would be both funny, a little sexy which was the way bands were back then, Motlty Crue, Poison, Warrant, Guns n Roses and many more, I knew it was fun, but also a 'serious' note in it... about talking to your kids about protection which in the heart of the AIDS epidemic... as a line in the song said -- it will put you 6 feet in the ground - if your not careful who you mess with... I know a few rock stars who passed from AIDS sadly I hope this was fun.... i love Coldplay and many other nice and sweet songs you guys do.... a little spicey never hurts. :)
The song "Smooth Up In Ya" was one of their main hits (if not 'the' one) that actually put them on the map and was played on the radio which was minimally played to begin with. Anything beyond that, it was short lived for that band. They had have a few poppin' songs though.
Saw them at a club when they were touring for their first album. Got to meet them, they were pretty cool dudes. Real chill. I offered to buy them a drink and I distinctly remember the singer wanted a Sprite and not a beer or something alcoholic. Talked Hockey with the bass player as he was wearing a Calgary Flames jersey after the show.
Their guitarist, Mick Sweda, is one of the guitarists in King Kobra, who you guys just reacted too a few weeks ago. He just stopped bleaching his hair!
I first saw the Bullet Boys in concert June 27, 1989 when they and Winger opened for Cinderella in Columbus, Georgia. Ticket price ws $15.00 and I still have the ticket today.
I remember taking my GF to the show in Billings MT and we met Winger and the BB'sat an in store signing , the tickets were like $15 but I bought her a white and purple Cinderella shirt that was $35 lol .
@@rosariocannistraro3561 Good deal. Those were the days. Fwiw, I wound up seeing Cinderella 5 times. First was in 1989 Columbus, Georgia --- the last was in 2011 Charlotte, North Carolina
The bullet boys were the opening act of a concert i went to a few years ago of lita ford and warrent, it was freezing and was in a field high on a mountain in tennessee in october it was freezing
Shoot guys the tour I just mentioned in my first comment date like I say they opened so I thought Winger was going to be really great because they had a lot of you know cool songs but the truth is the BulletBoys blew the damn Winger right off the damn stage man they were way better but I already gave you some songs to check it out that they do have videos for like smooth up in ya that was a huge hit I think it was like 88 I saw them like February of 89 yeah the video for that song I mentioned again man his voice in that is insane I mean he goes way the heck up and the way he moves makes girls go nuts trust me when they did that song Live bras hit the stage by the dozens
BulletBoys came out when grunge started gaining popularity so they were unfairly overlooked. Lead singer Marq Torien was heavily influenced by David Lee Roth (Van Halen). You can hear it in his voice and see it in the way he moves and looks. "For the Love of Money" is a cover song but BulletBoys do a great job with it.
Bulletboys debuted in 1988 w/ their self-titled album and scored the hit single 'Smooth up in ya'... and the album sold gold in the US (half million copies)... However, Bulletboys were too molded in the image & sound of the original Van Halen (w/ David Lee Roth)... it didn't help that they were signed to Van Halen's record label Warner Bros. and were produced by Ted Templeman, who had produced all the Van Halen albums from 1978 to 1984. The original Bulletboys were: Marq Torien (vocals), Mick Sweda (guitar), Lonnie Vincent (bass) and Jimmy D'Anda (drums) Bulletboys released 'Freak show' in 1991 and 'Talk to your daughter' was the big single... However, as the 90's grunge/ alternative rock era decimated the careers of 80's 'hair' bands, Bulletboys saw their 1993 album 'Zaza' fail commercially... and the original band split up. Marq Torien reformed Bulletboys over the years w/ various musicians and is still active... The singer doesn't have that blond mane of hair anymore but I saw Marq Torien w/ Bulletboys and he was playing lead guitar as well as singing... I was really impressed w/ his skills on guitar 🤘🤘🔥🔥 Bulletboys have recorded a few albums in the past decade.
Kathy your making those faces again I thought your eyes and Donna's eyes couldn't get any bigger looking at shirtless glistening men and yes it could still happen if you can get lulu out of her room watching TV lol and my mother wanted to say hi Wintersun Alex ❄️🫶
The bullet boys were promoted As being the next guns and Roses or motley crew But that never happened The original band broke up in 1993 & got back together in 2019 only to break up again in 2022

It's an old tune written by J.B. Lenoir...It was remade in 1988 by Robben Ford on his "Talk To Your Daughter" Album, which is a fantastic record!
Lulu's innocence needs to be preserved...But on this channel, highly unlikely lol jk
You're a Monk fan too? I love that show. Seen every episode. Remember the one with Korn in it?
Yes, she has seen every episode multiple times. She loved the episode with Korn in it.
Good choice , Monk is a fantastic TV show .
