easy bonnet / hood crochet tutorial

hi friends! I'm back with "another" lol bonnet tutorial. you may be wondering why I made this one, it's an easier method and also easy to measure for yourself.
I had a lot of comments about how it would fit too small or hard to crochet without measurements for my past bonnet tutorial. mainly that's why.
I have a two month old, you will hear her a little bit haha
things you'll need to make this bonnet
to know how to crochet stitches like chain, double crochet, half double crochet and slip stitch. I will not be teaching you how to do those.
5 - 5.5mm hook , I used 5mm
medium weight yarn in main color and contrasting color for borders.
tape measure ( optional and you can use the foundation chains to measure as well)
two stitch markers
scissors and darning needle
