Crochet Easy Duster Cardigan / Even Moss Stitch Long Cardigan

- This crochet cardigan is easy yet Beautiful. I used the even moss stitch for this cardigan which is basically a repeat of slip stitch and half double crochet. I wanted a long cardigan with slit side pockets, high collar and with a belt. The instructions for all sizes are included and the tutorial is easy to follow even for a beginner.
Materials;
4.0 mm hoo
DK weight yarn . I used 20 balls, 50g each and 133 m each
yarn needle
tape measure
Scissors

Just finished my second of these cardigans…first for me as I practiced and learned…second for my daughter. (That one went much much faster as I mastered the stitch) Thank you for your wonderful creative mind and spirit as you encourage us to create beauty for ourselves and those we love. I did the same thing..went out to the wool wholesaler bought packets of wool,made one for my daughter..send it to her and she promptly ordered another one which I am busy with right now..and now I wanna try the dress😅😅

@Carla Lambert Not sure. Maybe less than a month, working on it after work. I used an aran weight yarn so it worked up pretty quickly. The length on mine is mid calf

I’m going to make a foundation single crochet instead of chains. It’s less likely to shrink in width. And this is a gorgeously textured cardigan! Beautiful design!

I made this and am in love ... I want one in every color. I made my belt in same stitch, 5 stitches , sl st , hdc, sl st, hdc, ch1 flip ... continue to desired length, and I made pockets from finer yarn as I found them bulky indee it in same yarn. Redoing these price brought this to a 60 hour project for me but I am so pleased with it! On to the next! Thank you 😊

I absolutely LOVE this Cardigan! I've made 4 of them in different lengths this past winter. Two for myself & the other 2 were for 2 of my daugther in laws. On 2 of them I used the fp,bp, dbl cr for the whole cardigan & made hoods instead of a collar and they came out fantastic. Thank you so much for your designs and easy to follow instructions! Well I finished mine turned out pretty good. But I have to tell you what I did with the belt. I chained 200 then did 4 rows of the even moss stitch the I single crocheted around putting 2 sc in corner`s It`s the prettiest belt I`ve ever seen or made. Try it just do a sample an you`ll see.

okay this is perfect for what i was stepping out to do, i am going to take this exact pattern and turn the cardigan into a bath robe for my three tall adult sons. this is the perfect pattern to use for the project and i had totally forgotten about this specific pattern stitch you are using and better yet you are offering the full design for the item. since i have thicker yarn and larger gauge hook , i won't need as many rows but still the perfect pattern for this , , you are the best! thank you so much for posting this ! :D

I am making a cardigan, using the feather stitch. But following your video. It would be of great value if you tell people they need to decrease at some point in the sleeves. Im a 2x, I upped the stitches for the back, and also for starting the sleeve. 18 inches I am using for the sleeves, but realized I will have to decide when to start decreasing, bc otherwise the sleeve will be super large & wide at the wrist.
This looks awesome!!! Will definitely try to make one for myself. Just a couple questions: what measurements would recommend for 2XL, and how would you go about adding a couple of buttons and button holes to the side ribbing?
