When the song was written, it was a Joy Division tune. There is a live recording of it from Birmingham University (England) with Ian Curtis on vocals. There has to be a demo out there with Curtis's vocals. Nice cover !!

top cover, it was joy division 1980 , don't think they ever released it as a single but new order did early 1981, the legendary hacienda opened in 82, i joined in the first week it opened along with mani from the roses, seen some great bands in the early days there
