I love when you have Jonathan on! 💕 He’s such a wealth of Raggedy doll info. I enjoy all that he shares about the history and always look forward to seeing his personal collection. The story about his brother, a future heart surgeon, was so cool. It makes me happy that Jonathan’s parents gave him a doll at a time when some wouldn’t have let their son have a doll. Even back in the ‘80s, when I was a little girl, my baby brother was told he shouldn’t have a doll. I gave him my old baby doll and he slept with her and took her all over the place when no one was watching. I’m glad Jonathan gave the neighbor’s daughter’s Raggedy Ann a new home but also very sad that it was because she thought she was too old to play with dolls. I’m in my forties and I’m not too old to collect dolls! Wonderful video as usual. 🌻☀️💛

Thank you d so much for taking me down memory lane. I also love raggedy ann and andy. I remember my first two which i was about 5 yrs old. I was born in 1958. I havent had any luck finding any at thrift stores or garage sales. I still look. Well when this quarantine is over i cant wait to get back to thrift stores. I just love the tea set you have, oh that is just super. And you have so many wonderful items. Thank you very very much.

@@RachelHoffmanDolls I just found out today strangely (or maybe not so strange) I googled him for the obituary. I had noticed his website was down; so I just had 'a feeling.' Nevertheless, I like you and many others will miss his light. I don't know all the details, however, I wish he could have known how many smiles he brought to others through his lifetime. I wonder about his collections especially his childhood drawings. He spoke to me once about how he hoped whomever got his dolls when he was gone, he hoped they would be as loved as he loved them. I feel the same way about my collection .
