- Every once in a while a piece of technology comes along that changes the game. That is exactly what this new breed of A.I. image generator tools are doing. We must adapt or die to our new overlords. OR... use this awesome tool to brainstorm surreal images you want to create in 3D!
In this tutorial we take a quick first glimpse at the power of MidJourney.

It doesn´t scan the internet. It was trained on a set of images, that was supposedly extracted from the internet. But once the training is done, it creates a dataset. The AI has only access to this dataset. It doesn´t active search for anything. It´s capable of learning either. It´s fix. Only a retraining and expanding of the dataset would lead to better results.
True, since the tutorial I’ve learned a lot more about the program. Makes me feel a lot better when using it that it’s more of a diffusion process than just photoshopping already created images together. There have been versioning on mid journey. I think they are on V3 right now but you’re right I think the new data set will be it’s users basically. Pinning your comment cause the info is helpful!

Stumbled across Midjourney a few days ago. I’m not at all an artist, but love technology. Its been years since I’ve found something new I’m tech that’s mind blowing to me, but Midjourney boggles my mind. It’s capable of generating images way beyond what I’m capable of imagining.
Exactly! Seems like it can be super powerful to just bounce ideas off of that are hard to articulate in words.

Tip for anyone who just getting started. Use relax mode. It will slowly do it but you are not billed. If you use fast mode, you will get billed. So don't forget to to use at end of what you're typing with your prompt /relax so you don't get billed. It is helpful when you haven't got paid jobs, for you to be incrementally billed. In relax mode, your jobs do not cost but take longer to generate. Only active Standard and Corporate plans have access to relax mode.
this is a GREAT tip. I ended up blowing through my fast hours way to rapidly as I was learning.

question. in Dioscord how do you just see your renders and not have the whole rolling battle with other renderings from other people?
Ah yeah the battle of the century in there. The only way is if you have a paid subscription you can then direct message the mid journey bot. So just click on the bot that returns you your image and direct message it! Then it will be in your friends section.
The battle is epic, collaborative, and wild.

Thanks! From my understanding there is absolutely no difference between commas and periods when describing things. The symbol “::” is used for when you want to apply a value set to your prompt. My next video will cover some tips and tricks I’ve found!
