    Finally some recognition for Novak's perpetual sportsmanship. Even when he was a teenager, he's got one of the best attitude in losing. Always a gracious hug or tap on the chest with a smile.

      tbh always thought it was obvious ever since the USO semi against fed in 2009. Djokovic couldn't help but enjoy the exhibition shot at one of the highest stages of the game and smiled even knowing he was going to lose. He's always been one to smile in the face of adversity and is a unique reason of his that I'm a big fan.

And yeah i've seen Federer do that in Miami when he was trailing to zverev. Smashing the ball angrily in stands and then arguing with referee like a kid because he gave him code violation for ball abuse. The fact is that hardly there are any players, maybe Rafa is the one who does not do it otherwise almost everyone does it be it Federer, Murray, Daniil, zverev etc but for others things never get highlighted in media. This is no big deal, nothing exceptional. When you are the undisputed GOAT like Djokovic, you can afford to give away free points in the name of sportsmanship as you can win at will. He often does this with Federer, by taking the match to the 5th set just for fun though he could have crushed weak era champ much earlier - like in Wimbledon, for example.

    • @vidyasonavane9602

      @2369 Dennis’s. Totally untrue. Though the aim is to win a match, but he does it when he loses too. You can see the score in one match in this video alone. He was on set down and a game down. Some people simply cannot accept the truth.

      you're just being nasty here. he is always pretty good. he does break racquets but it is for his own frustration, nothing against his opponent.

      @@anirudhb3003 well no... he doesn't applaude at all if he's losing one set or more, even with great shots by the opponent (worse: a great shot make him going crazy)... and no, he doesn't smile that much at everyone. finally, please notice, every snippet on this video report a winning Nole (and a very mature winning Nole). too easy. so, yes, it's very nice to see a top player in such good mood with the essence of a discipline but we must be objective too and do not idealize him too much

    Lol. Great sportsmanship in smashing racquets and letting your partner in the Olympic hanging when you decide your ego was bruised from getting whooped by Zeverev

    • @nishagovil9207
      @nishagovil9207 3 года назад +2

      Smashing racquets is for his own frustration, nothing to do with his opponent. And secondly he picked up a shoulder injury after match with PCB for bronze medal which is why he had to withdraw from Toronto, Cincinnati masters as well. These things happen in doubles, your partner gets injured and you have to accept and move on. You want Novak to play with an injured shoulder to make things worse.
