2011 Djokovic was the best baseline player of all time but his serve was his one flaw. It's amazing how he improved in that department. His serve is deadly now.
His serve is still not perfect, in particular his first serve %. However, he has a serve that’s reliable and good when it needs to be. It isn’t as good as some say though…it’s just decent.
I wouldn't say it was a flaw... In 2010 yes because Todd Martin ruined his serve motion and Novak was hitting a lot of DFs, but from 2011 on these issues were gone.
You need to learn tennis first. His serve is one of his best weapons. That's why his second serves points almost equal to the 1st serves. No one do it better than him.
It's also time to remember how great Murray was. He was just unlucky to play alongside Big3 his entire career. In any other era, be it past, present or a future, he is double digit grand slam winner and ATP #1 for a few years.
Agreed. Wawrinka and Del Porto had their moments but Murray was the one who could hang with the Big 3 the most and for the longest. But when he eventually wrestled the No. 1 spot away from the others in 2016 his body basically then gave up after the insane effort it took.
Del Potro was arguably even more talented player then Murray and for sure then Vavrinka, but he ended his career due to many injuries. He should never be ignored. @@samwarrilow2881

17:58 This point defines Novak's greatness and consistency in every point. With his mental power and quality of play, once again demonstrated to the world that he is GOAT of tennis.
That's why I don't bother engaging anybody who says "he's winning slams now in a weak field". Well yeah, I do admit the playing field is weak but when it was at its strongest he was beating everyone to bits, I mean he demolished Nadal in 6 finals including on clay, this was Nadal coming off winning 3 grandslam the previous year.
What's noticeable when you watch old clips of the big 3 is how much quicker and athletic they were like 10 years ago. They didn't have that in their latter years but still found ways to win. With Novak he got bulkier.
I don't think this is true at all. Djokovic is 36 now, it's not like his athleticism dropped much at all, maybe a tiny bit bulkier and slower but I don't think it's noticeable.
