@@markdasparkauto1780 i open the front timing cover an hour ago, and fuck sick! You're right the engine is out of timing! Need to change the timing chain set.. i almost replace the ecu...thank you soo much.
Hey Brother. I bought a 2007 Xterra with a crank/no start condition the previous owner replaced all of the cam/crank sensors and still doesn't run. He did the timing chains guides and tensioners about 20k miles ago, then left him stranded at work one day. Haven't tested the injection yet, but know for certain there is no spark. I can hear the fuel pump running and smell fuel when cranking, confirmed no spark and has no codes, cranking sounds like has compression. Does it matter which cam sensor I disconnect for this particular test to make it run? Anything else that would cause a crank/no spark on these VQ motors I could've overlooked?
I have 2005 pathfinder I just got, has no spark no injector pulse, but does prime /run the fuel pump. I disconnect cam sensor ,makes no difference. Also no codes come up.
@@markdasparkauto1780 thank you brother, I found a connector disconnected at rear of engine driver's side. Six pin. Suspicious. Thanks for your quick response!
This was a real good video! I didn't think about removing the crankshaft sensor off to diagnosis a timing issue. Very clever!
That was the cam sensor I disconnect
my fri8end you are a good me3chanic, you the best
Big help.thank you, i have the same problem, car stay in workshop for couple of months now because of this problem
You are welcome my friend.

So how do I fix the off timing
@@itssKayla2000 got to pull the front covers off put new timing chain guides and tensioner good to go
I have the same problem with a 2009 Pathfinder I have just bought. So will I need to change the timing chains?
You got to do a complete timing job and you will good.
Ok, not sure if I can do that myself. Never done anything like it before. @@markdasparkauto1780
Hey brother, was the check engine light flashing while cranking no start.
No engine light flashing when cranking and if you have an engine light flashing while cranking you got to check the main relay
