We were blown away by the charm and history of Cape May! It is so much more than just a beach town. But, what do you think? Let us know if you have or would go to Cape May below!

Such a wonderful seaside town - a visit to Cape May is always an enjoyable outing. Once you've enjoyed a summer's day (or week) in Cape May, visiting in the autumn offers its own unique wonders - and since the water temperature is around that of June, no great loss of swimming time. Christmas, as well, is made even more enjoyable by the charming Victorian surroundings. Nonetheless, lots of history in Cape May, with the Harriett Tubman Museum (always proud of a fellow Marylander) and the Cape May Light House excellent examples of the area's rich history.
I'm glad to see you and Andrea had such an enjoyable time. Of course, if the ocean is too cold, one can dive into a winery, where the temperature is always perfect. And thank you for showing the Sunset Beach flag-lowering ceremony. However, if you're looking for the most emotional flag-lowering ceremony ever, you must visit the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial, where there is not a dry eye in the house, especially if there are veterans of the War, especially the Normandy campaign, honoring the flag during the ceremony. I lost it when one wheelchair-bound veteran saluted the flag as he was held up by a number of family members. But, I digress.
Perhaps next up: Rehoboth Beach, Delaware...? Especially since it's just a ferry ride away from Cape May. The boardwalk is short, yet fun, and I will be happy to offer restaurant recommendations. And, Khor Brothers offers locations there as well - and Thrasher's Fries - and Fisher's Popcorn! And the best crab cakes in the world (though, that restaurant is in Dewey Beach, just to the south of Rehoboth Beach). Thanks for sharing your adventures, especially those bloopers.

As always, thanks for watching! We have heard that Cape May is just as magical in the fall and over the holidays so it's not off our list just yet. Andrea has been to Normandy and she agrees that it is a poignant visit. We both studied in France during college so its also on our list for future travels. Coincidentally, Rehoboth was our original destination, but our lodging fell through "late" in the season. As our resident travel expert, we will gladly take recommendations from you! Some of our best travels involve recs!

Cape May is one of our favorite beach towns. We go there at least once a year. Really enjoyed your vlog. 😊😊

Andrea had been there for a couple of hours years ago, but this was our first time really diving in. It’s such a perfect little town! We recently got back from our North Carolina trip so our Biltmore video is coming soon.
