Windows 11 - Hide Clock From Taskbar (Without Registry Editor)

In Windows 11 "turn system icons on or off" settings is not available so you cannot hide system icons from Windows 11 taskbar such as time and date. But I think I found a clever way to hide clock from Windows 11 taskbar without using group policy editor or registry editor.

Something to note for some people though, if you update files and need to know exact dates/times in file explorer, this tutorial effects the clock there as well.

Ugh. Guess I'll have to just tape something over it. I don't know why you can't just hide it in settings, especially since mine displays the wrong time zone, and changing it to the correct time zone changes the time zone in outlook (which needs to be the time zone my office is in or emails will display the wrong time zone) for reasons that are known only to the sadistic chimp at Microsoft who arrogantly decided not to let us unlink the two, presumably due to viewing the user with contempt (I've seen so many patronizing restrictions and messages that I'm convinced that many programmers have an arrogance towards their users that borders on dehumanizing).

Thanks for sharing this with us! Upgraded to a Surface Pro 8 from a 5 recently and it already had Windows 11 on it, which I quickly found out was missing alot of configuration options/features that 10 has. I have always had the time disabled in the task bar because when I'm working it is extremely distracting. This work around you shared saved me from a lot of stress and also from going through what seemed like a long tedious process of installing Windows 10 on the Surface Pro 8! Thanks again!
