The device is made by GVDA, model number GD166B, and it is a true RMS smart multimeter. It can automatically detect and measure AC/DC current, AC/DC voltage, resistance, and continuity. It can also (manually) measure inrush current, diode, AC/DC millivolts (mV), frequency, duty, capacitance, temperature (using a thermocouple), and it can be used as a non-contact voltage detector and a live wire detector.
It's pretty much the all-in-one smart clamp meter and multimeter tester you need. The AC DC clamp meter has a big colorful display with a backlight, which makes the readings visible from any angle. It feels heavy and sturdy compared to other clamp meters, and the bright flashlight can be really handy in dark places.
The “Hold” button allows you to capture the reading at the moment of pressing it, which allows you to observe it in a closer distance or at a later time.
Along with the beeping sound, there are green and red LED indicators, while performing the continuity test, and the non-contact voltage / live wire detecting. This can be very useful especially for people with disturbed hearing.

This meter is excellent, very reliable, it is so accurate. I love it.

This is a very good tool to have. My husband and brother use the AC DC clamp meter all the time.
Digital Multimeter has interesting options and is easy to use.
For clamps you can only measure on single active cables. First you measured a 3 core and then looks like neutral (blue). Measure on the active instead.

This AC DC Smart Clamp Meter isn't available in my country, Saint Lucia. I think the hardware stores and building contractors should be made aware of this, so that they could place a large order of these meters and have them shipped down and used in their construction projects

Yes, it shows on the left side of the screen (your left) just next to the reading.

Any way to the the temp on the top display from C to F?
It shows both of them but you can't switch their places.
Why does meter show A/C amps when you crank truck? Shouldn’t it show DC amps?
The inrush function only works when the clamp meter is set to AC.
Can you measure THD?

That's the real reading though, I've tested the same capacitor with other meters...

Light's in a lousy position though. Blocked by the clamp.
