This is a very helpful video. Thank you. I do have a quick question: When you were using the 'clamp' feature you set the meter to 40V. What is the determining factor for whether you chose 40 or 400? At what point would you choose one setting over the other... and if you did not make that change when you should have what would happen, could you damage the meter? Thanks to anyone who can clear this up for me. Again, thanks for this great video.
Thank you. Glad the video helped you. I chose 40 amps because I knew the draw would be very small. The meter will auto range anyway, so if you did pick the 400 amp, it will still read the correct value of AC current.
