Kevin, regarding the St. Charles Airline, the bridge over the south branch of the Chicago River is undergoing major renovation. Also, a plan has been announced that a connection will be constructed between the line coming south out of Chicago Union Station and the St. Charles Airline such that the City of New Orleans and the other Amtrak trains between Chicago Union Station and Carbondale will no longer have to back into Chicago Union Station. The new connection will enable them to run directly into Chicago Union Station. Russ
