This was a wonderful and warm spirited video altogether, but the ending made me cry. How easy it would've been for you to just wish everyone merry Christmas and not get into the hard stuff. I lost my father to cancer last September and it really hasn't been the easiest time OR Christmas, but we got through it and did manage to make the best of it. I felt so nice when you acknowledged that some might have had a very different experience of Christmas than yourself and that it was okay. And of course I also know the book Struwwelpeter and I just want to say that it is a very old book that comes from a time when physical and emotional violence was considered best to raise children. In pedagogy we call it "black pedagogy". I don't mean to say it's a bad book because I too was fascinated by the pictures when I was a child. But I just want to say that this isn't read to children anymore, it is more used as a historical source from the late 1900 (it was first published in 1845). Just to avoid new/old clichés about Germans and their way of educating 😉💕 Happy New Year and all the best to you and your loved ones! ✨

My jaw DROPPED when you showed that ink so I immediately headed over to the website and I now have a new obsession. I've been wanting to journal lately but all of my journals are from years ago and most of them are sort of middle-schooly and just not the vibe I want when I'm writing. A thought in the back of my head for several months now has been that I want to get a really pretty and high quality (maybe leather?) journal and some ink to use with my fountain pen. This ink is probably the prettiest thing I will see for the rest of the year. P.S. happy new year everybody! Now I have an issue where I want every color and I will have to choose just one at least to start haha.

I actually play so often, I got a Switch mini so that we can play at the same time! Thank you for all of the joy you have brought to myself and all of your other viewers. I'm German and I am also a kindergarten teacher. And of course I also know the book Struwwelpeter and I just want to say that it is a very old book that comes from a time when physical and emotional violence was considered best to raise children. In pedagogy we call it "black pedagogy". I don't mean to say it's a bad book because I too was fascinated by the pictures when I was a child. But I just want to say that this isn't read to children anymore, it is more used as a historical source from the late 1900 (it was first published in 1845). Just to avoid new/old clichés about Germans and their way of educating 😉💕

My jaw DROPPED when you showed that ink so I immediately headed over to the website and I now have a new obsession. I've been wanting to journal lately but all of my journals are from years ago and most of them are sort of middle-schooly and just not the vibe I want when I'm writing. A thought in the back of my head for several months now has been that I want to get a really pretty and high quality (maybe leather?) journal and some ink to use with my fountain pen. This ink is probably the prettiest thing I will see for the rest of the year. P.S. happy new year everybody! Now I have an issue where I want every color and I will have to choose just one at least to start haha.
