As for Kotal, hopefully so. But possibly not. Kotal was an X favorite from what I remember. So it's likely.

@@theroster74 I agree. Plus even if Kotal has grown to be a better person after Jade showed him the right way, I think I'd still prefer someone else for her
I know we all disliked this game when it came out, but I am so happy with the way mk1 is going. Gameplay is way better in my opinion now, skins are dope as and as well the Kameo after spending some time with it is an amazing fun addition. Hopefully this game can build up the traction because I don’t want it to die!
Eh I still feel like they need to come out with a new mode to keep us interested after completing invasions especially when invasions doesn’t take a whole month to complete. Game still feels very lackluster compared to mk11.
I feel like Kameos was a big turn off for most fans . They need a single player mode alongside more content for the game

I always said let the game cook. No skins or low skins at the start but they said themselves they will be adding lots of skins as time goes on and changes are always being made. Rough launch but loyal fans know in time it’ll get better and skins will continue to come in

I like Stryker too, but I don't think he'll be fully playable. He isn't that popular of a character.

I think Phil Lamar switched to Geras from Kotal in MK1 so I could definitely see a new voice actor for Kotal If you don't recognise them grunts 😊
I mean he’s already in the roster and they probably only cast him as Geras because his MK11 actor was unavailable, idk why they’d do suddenly give Kotal a new one unless Lamar became unavailable after MK1 released and they had decided the characters after his schedule filled up or something

I loved Kotal Kahn. He was a fun character. It was kind of dumb that they killed him off in MK 11. Now we are in a new era and it would be an error not to have Kotal Kahn.
They didn't kill him they just crippled him for life which I'm not sure if it's worse killing him for crippling him for life either way they did him dirty.

If those audio logs aren’t Kotul Kahn then they have to be the rumoured Conan The Barbarian guest character. If Kotul Kahn does return he needs to be treated with respect because he has big potential that was wasted and thrown away in MKX and MK11
For how good X and 11 was ( way better than 1) the story sure as hell didn’t do much

kameo- kitaro, sheeva, kobra, shinnok, tanya (mk deception version), Cetrion and kabal
Uh Kintaro needs to be fully Playable
Skarlet has potential. But dvorah and kira?? No way since Dvorah wasn’t even interesting from the start other than killing OG characters. Kira was just a filler character same with kobra and dairou.

We need Kabal as a main character. In this new universe, he could either be born with his powers or gain them during the aftermath story. A good kameo would be Nightwolf he's a good fit for a kameo or even as a main character. we also need Riptor from Killer Instint lol

I doubt it’s Kotals voice actor from MKX/MK11 since he’s voice Geras in MK1 so it’s possible to be Conan the Barbarian. Or they just got a new voice actor to play Kotal.

Question: I love MK, but didn’t love MK1. I put it down a while ago, but have been thinking about picking it back up. Can you change skins in character select yet like every other modern MK, or do you still have to go into a separate mode?

Agreed! Kotal was a fun character. The grapple combos, his sick bladed Aztec sword that saws people, his animal fatality, the giant totem fatality! Awesome character that gets random hate for no reason besides some writer decisions.

Honestly I wanted cyber smoke as a Kameo character. I think it could be fun to a kameo character that is about bring the opponent in. With stuff like his chest spear, and throwing smoke at the opponent. Also I think it would be cool if all three of the original cyber ninjas in the game.

of the NRS games, Kronika is my favorite boss so far because she felt like an actual boss. Shao Kahn did in the first one, and then outside Kronika, we don't have actual bosses. Just slightly stronger versions of existing roster characters.

Kotal has been so done dirty in mkx and mk11 losing repeatedly and even got beat in absence by raiden in mk1
you could argue those voice lines are unused geras ones (even if they have a more odd sound to them) given Phil Lamarr did voice geras this time and did voice kotal in 10 and 11. its really hard to say for now though

On the topic of grinding I am BEGGING for them to fix the amount of xp you get from fights. It is so low compared to when the game launched. If they think that was too much, fine, but if that was too much, we’re getting way too little.
