I don't think mk should have a main character. I like the Mortal Kombat universe being dark & depressing. You get attached to a character and they're faced with their mortality.
Only just got MKXL recently and Takeda is becoming a favourite, already liked his character and outfit and what you can do is pretty cool, been really hype for him to return in MK1. Love these returning to MKX to see how characters are. 🖤💛
I really do love Mortal Kombat X. Variations were such a great addition to the game. My favorite variations are Johnny Cage's Stunt Double, Kung Lao's Tempest, Kitana's Royal Storm, and The Predator's Hish-Qu-Ten.
I remember i was fairly excited to play johnny and kung lao on the release of mkx, but then i discovered takeda and put more hours in him than my 2 other favourites
If Takeda does not feel good in MK1 for Max I will be so sad. Literally the one character that he probably would have wanted to play all this time that if he doesn't feel like he does here it will be so heartbreaking.

Thankfully in MK1, kameos do a good job giving high dmg meterless combos for all the characters but they too should be able to crank out big dmg with no kameo and no meter. Johnny and Kenshi are good examples given they have a lot of meterless combo starters and unique mechanics.

@Maximilian Dood been a huge fan of the channel since the assist me days but, I loved Takeda in this game a lot too but, where you and I seemed to differ at back in the MKXL days when the game was in it’s prime was I really enjoyed Lasher Takeda and a little bit of Shirai Ryu but, mostly Lasher for me.
it really was, I never cared for the customization they brought in MK11 and Injustice 2. The variation system was peak. Each character had multiple playstyles.
Takeda was SOOO SICK in MKX. Even I played Ronin cause it was the sauciest variation in the game maybe outside of Dualist Liu but Takeda's other variations were also viable and dope! Definitely the best Kombat kid in the game. Not to mention he's Kenshi's SON and Scorpion's student! He's a walking badazz 😂

Little known fact, Takeda's X-ray can be canceled from his F4 kick. Got a lot of people with that cheese back in the day.
They should have refined this game play in mk1, but I still respect them for trying out something new.
MKX and their stamina, run fighting mechanic is the best iteration of a fighting game that has ever existed.

God i miss prime MKX gotta be one of my favorites fighting games to play.
MKX has the best character screen select, MK DECEPTION has the best menu screen, both have a dark and chaotic atmosphere.
NRS really need to conduct a couple operations on their characters to get rid of all the broomsticks they swallowed:)
