Christin, I just bought a 645 NII and I love it. All my 645 lenses are manual focus, but I'm totally OK with that (I started out with a Minolta SRT 201 in 1979 and it was totally manual. I'm really loving the 645 NII and ready to shoot some 220 velvia in a couple weeks when I'm in Florida.
Your images are stunning man, I've been looking to get a 645 camera for a while, I've been shooting digital forever, but your images inspired me, bought a Pentax 645 with the 75mm today! Excited to get out there and have some fun with film.
I my 645 and lenses a number of years ago. I've been shooting mostly with my Canon A2e for wildlife. I use my Bronica Etrsi and Mamiya RZ67 for landscape and loseup shots. So I've been considering coming back to the Pentax 645xx and maybe even a digital on to head of my future chemical availability issues.
I'm enjoying your videos on the Pentax 645. Keep up the dope content! I'm currently trying to save up for one so hopefully, I'll get my hands on one soon!
@@christinandfilm7657 That's interesting. Do you think that the quality of the original 645 is as good as the 645n? Some people have told me that the 645n is a better choice than the original.
@@Henrito123 if you watched the video you will understand that's its the same. I own both of them and in this video I'm comparing both. Yes the 645n or 645nii is better in terms of built quality but final image is the same.
@@christinandfilm7657 Ok thank you! I prefer to use manual focus in my work so I will reconsider choosing the 645n over the original model. The standard of your work is beautiful, you have real talent.
I’ve been debating on the Pentax 645 system versus the Mamiya 645 system. I like the mamiya can change out magazines but don’t know much beyond that. Any experience with the Mamiya 645 system versus the Pentax?
Hi Christin, Is there a way to change the shutter speed on the PENTAX 645? I recently acquired one. I can only switch from two shutter speeds of 1/1000 and 1/60
I've had such bad luck with 645... But I still bought a second one (no issues except a one-time battery leak)! That's how much I love it. Do you have a wide-angle lens for it? Do you recommend it?

@@christinandfilm7657 so sharp! Good lab, theres no labs where I live and I have to scan my Mamiya 645 pro negatives myself on an Epson v550 but I cannot zoom and get that sharpness. If you ever scan at home I´d love to see a tutorial. Thanks!
