Around 15-16 days, the live eggs slowly become so dark to the point where even if you candle them, you can’t see anything inside. Especially when the egg is about to hatch the eggs become completely dark so don’t mistake them for spoiled eggs. One point to note is that, it’s better not to candle eggs after 12 days.

Hello! Before like 10 days my rosella parrot hatched an egg. When I check it now I see only one yellow thing ( i think this is the yolk) When i candle the egg this yolk is moving as I rotate the egg to see better ( It kinda swims to the top) There are no veins... Does that means that the egg is unfertilized? (Yes, I have male parrot)
Even after 10 days of brooding, if the yolk is moving and no veins are developed then that means either it was not brooded properly or it was unfertilised.

First I would like you to wait at least until 7 days to be sure And secondly, 1. If the egg is black, It has been spoiled 2. I suggest you to wait for a few more days before being sure 3.If there are any black lines,It is probably spoiled as well. As for how you are incubating the eggs. You should roll them at least twice a day and also maintain the temperature and humidity. Only then the eggs may hatch.

Do veins mean that a egg is still alive mine are on day 16 and one side is very dark and I can see the veins run down until the air bubble

If the pigeons are still brooding, keep the eggs under them. If they are not, then you’ll have to make an incubator for the eggs.

Of course you can. Just keep in mind that pigeon eggs hatch in 18 days and chicken eggs in 21 days.

Doesnt matter. Leave it as it was before rotating. The chick will then adjust itself.

Can we put pigeons egg with chickens egg to hatch ,, my pigeon layed around 10 to 14 eggs but not a single egg is hatched , no formation of veins , embryo even after 15 days , we don't even touch , the parents tries to hatch itself , but not hatching , please help me I am trying very hard for them

If female pigeon is laying eggs and egg shell is not soft then your female is completely fine
Then I think your male pigeon is facing problem if they don't make too much sound for mate..

Incubator temperature should be 37.5 C

You can just look it up on RUclips on how to make it

And keep the egg in the incubator
And keep rotating the egg every 12 hours
