I based this list off of general public opinion of these uniforms, but some teams ultimately came down to my opinion since they had multiple wacky uniforms. Alabama's craziest uniform is the normal one with houndstooth on the collar.
It just shows how traditional they are. I think it’s pretty cool!
Carolina sport 13 can’t forget Auburn’s. All they did was remove the logo

There isnt another Power5 school THAT Traditional anwhere.
Penn State might the closest thing but even theyve done multiple minor alterations. Most of our 'Bammers' want no part of doing it themselves nor debating it, even.

I’ve always hated that combination. Purple and orange are just so clashy because they’re both dominant colors. And don’t even get me started on Miami...

The only time they wear purple now is during their Military Salute game. But as a Gamecock fan, I agree with you, 'cause we definitely hate orange more than purple

Def seems like peak uniform madness for CFB was about 09-14 or so. It has calmed down a bit with a lot of schools. Great videos. Keeping me going through offseason

Arkansas: ohio STATE
That's because they wanted to feel like the best program in the country if only for a game. Go Bucks!!!!! PS I have always sort of pulled for Arkansas for whatever reason. Maybe it has to do with Lou Holtz coaching there when I was a kid. Grew up in central Ohio so I am a huge Buckeyes fan but there are strange teams I like around the country for whatever reason and Arkansas is one of them. I love Wisconsin, Penn State, LSU (well this season with Burrow at QB an Ohio boy who is going to take Cincy to the promise land) Texas, Boise State, and Nebraska for whatever reason.

The attention to detail in having “All Right Now” as the de facto Stanford fight song instead of the official “Come Join the Band” is fantastic. Even the NCAA Football games got that wrong.

I liked that Wisconsin and Nebraska both went alternates in that last one, considering they look damn near the same with their regular uniforms.
I remember a while ago VT played Boise in a neutral showcase game at FedEx Field maybe? I just have a vivid memory of these alts that had this crazy circuit design on the numbers and used to think they were so cool back in the day

LSUs kind of reminded me of the mustard that dries at the top of the mustard bottle. It’s really hard to make a classy looking uniform with a wild color scheme like purple and gold. At least the have something original instead of going with read and white like most schools.

The pink helmets... Still torn on those to this day. On the one hand it was for a good cause and I have the utmost respect for my Ducks for donning them, especially after my second mother survived breast cancer. On the other hand, my God were they a bloody eye sore paired with the black uniforms. At least we won?

You've got 2017 for Arkansas with Ryan Mallet playing. That is beyond wrong. Mallet played for Arkansas in 2009-10.

Rutgers has gotta be the long sleeves they wore this year for 150... I’d even pick the units from like 2013-14 with the weird like scratched silver helmets. Va Tech brick unis, Purdue space unis (2019), Oregon I would have gone either a variation of their all pale yellow, or when they literally looked like ducks (green jersey, white pants, orange socks and shoes), and USC chrome helmets

If you look at a picture of those Arkansas cardinal red and silver uniforms alongside the Cowboys navy blue and silver uniforms you will see that Arkansas is using them as a tribute to Jerry Jones. It's a very nice touch and a underrated look tbh
