Another great review for folks consideration. Looks to me that you covered most of the Pro's and Con's that I would have been interested in. I do have a Rocket Mozzafiato with the PID, Rotor Pump and the Heat Exchanger and really love it. I chose the Heat Exchanger over the Dual Boiler because there are only two of us in the house and I didn't think I needed the dual boiler. So far that decision has paned out. Again, you do an awesome job in your reviews and your presentation is pleasant as well.

Another great review as usual. On the bar pressure, Seven Mile coffee roasters did a comparison video on it. Definitely different outcome than what I expected in regards to higher vs lower bars of pressure.
Yeah I agree i hope I mentioned that in the video I was referencing that video when I mentioned it. Basically darker roast coffee at higher pressure is good but medium to light is better at 9 bar. Generally I like medium roasted coffee and only occasionally get darker more traditional espresso
@@JoeyVaracalli the one thing I found interesting was with the same coffee, same grind size, higher bar pressure setting actually made the shot pull slower. I would have thought, as he mentions, that higher bar pressure would cause the shot to pull faster, but it was the opposite.
@@billhendrix4125 totally right I mentioned that on a live stream on instagram I did a while back talking about flow profiling. I noticed when I pulled at lower bar the flow was actually faster. I think the thought is that the pressure compacts the puck making it harder to push liquid through
Hey Joe, nice review! I was considering getting one of these when they first came out, but wasn't sure about the hot, protruding E61 brew group and having little kids. Since then, the looks have also gotten better. Nice fat feet and black dials on that machine. Rotary pump is sweet too! All the best! Tom
Hey ton thanks for kind words. It is a pretty machine but I could agree the unit gets hot having kids around. But the appartmento has a vibratory pump not rotary they sell higher end models that have rotary though

That’s a great question. Unfortunately I don’t have any personal experience with the Andreja. looking at it and it’s specs I’d say you are splitting hairs. They are super similar machines would really just depend on what you like more brand and looks wise.
