Starfield VS Space Engineers Ship Build OFF 🧱 - Frontier & Red Ship

- I have been having a blast playing through starfield and building and upgrading ships as I progress. Lets take a look at a replica of the frontier built in space engineers and have a go at building the iconic red ship in star field.

It's sad that starfield doesn't allow us to fly around the planets, instead we just got a bunch of loading screens... I guess that's just how Bethesda do
Funny thing, there's mechs in a place called 1-of-a-kind-Scrap or something like that. But of course you can't use them.

Same… and it’s not like they have a good excuse either when they have the ability to already randomly generate land and have the flight system

I think the main and best feature of Space engineers over all space related games is the actual taking off and landing. The others seem cheesy
I find it funny that they cracked up starfield like this infinite space exploration game. And when I first I heard about it my thought was :didn’t space engineers already accomplish that?
It's not wrong, but Space Engineer stand alone without mod is not that much different in content scale. To make a detail space sim take lots of effort. More than most video game genre.
That SE build is incredible!
The one thing I'd REALLY like to see Space Engineers incorporate is the retractable hatch with the ladder passthrough from Starfield... and maybe a passthrough docking hatch/connector, but there're mods for that already.
Given they did such an accurate build from a few screenshots is impressive.

You should try to Build ships from Star Wars like the Consular-class Cruiser with Charger C70 Package, Corellian CR90 Corvette, Arquitens-class Light Cruiser, Gozanti-class Cruiser, Acclamator-class Assault Ship, Venator-class Attack Cruiser and Victory-class Star Destroyer or Star Citizen like the Hammerhead-class Corvette, Carrack-class Corvette, Idris-class Frigate or the Javelin-class Destroyer in Starfield and see just how much Chaos you'd bring even to Camulus LMAO!

From what I hear about Starfield, is it is a spac game minus the space part, otherwise its just sci fi Fallout

I think Starfield really needs something like the Mako from Mass Effect 1.
Most of the loading ramps seem designed for a vehicle. I'm willing to bet there was an intention for a wheeled jumpable vehicle like a quad bike version of the mako, which got canned early because Bethesda are incompetent. Lol.

Just wish starfield had an option to space truck and move around the ship in transit rather than it being all fast travel but still a good rpg.
Here's hoping mods cover that.... or maybe even DLC down the road.
Making it to where our crew can level up too would be awesome too.
Id say the Starfield does small ships better (without mods) then space engineers while Space Engineers does big ships better
SE also does fighters, utility craft, shuttles, and ground vehicles well.
IE the true 'small' vehicles that SE treats as static environmental objects, if it acknowledges them at all.

In my starfield playthrough, I think it was Sarah, keeps commenting on how good my character lands in the spaceport.
Problem is, my ship is almost 100m long, and the front of it clips through the front and back of the hangars/terrain. In fact, I can't actually access the landing bay in new Atlantis as it hangs off the pad.
Oh, and crashes into this particular starbase when taking off.
those engine pods might work better just a little forward like 1 connection point forward.
Can you do a video on how you made the Vtol on this ship with the engines turning? I've veen trying to find a way to do it for a while, but haven't found any videos on how to do it without scripts.

What does starfield ship do that the SE replical doesn't? Loading screens. 😆 I mean if that what we call a feature then ok 😆
Haha That being said the one thing that the starfield ship has that the SE one doesn't is a story.
It would be so cool if there was a vault door somewhere on earth that they have no way to find other than luck.

space enginers was good game, i gave it a negative review have 5 years of playing due to huge amount of DLC and also most update they do push all to do with Muiltplayer. They have forgotten about the very broken Singleplayer mode for example NPC have never attacked you randomly making wepons pointless in singleplayer. The wolfs and spiders never worked from day one and still do not work. I think owner of Keen has attuide of Money now instead of what community wants like water, singleplayer updates and more... Sadly i do not play space engineers and no longer support keen. :(
After starfielda fail I'm so scared TES VI will be a failure as well, which is 95% chance of it now

the modular system they use in starfield is just so jank and limeted compared to space enginears, they dodnt even have diagonal coridors or angled wing parts -.-
everything about starfield feels like good ideas from other games coppied then downgraded to fit into the outdated creation engin
Starfeild was full of lies and is a trash game. So much wasted potential. Felt like playing on a 360 with the loading screens, invisible walls, and low framerate. For a game about space exploration, not being able to fly or have anything to explore is a bad joke. Now if NMS and SE got put together, that would be a great game and what this was faked as it was. Turns out it's a crappier version of The Outer Worlds! Hope they lose alot of money and learn their lesson from the untested trash devs have been peddling lately to make a quick buck. This is what monopolys get us and why we should support honest devs and small business.
Bah! with scripts or proper assigning SE can probably make the replica work properly. Starfail ain't worth it.
