Future Renault RS 2027 F1 One Car Concept on display at Goodwood Festival of Speed.
"Fitted with a transparent cockpit, active LED lighting in the wheels and moving aerodynamic parts such as the car’s active wings, Renault wants to make the sport a more "human-centric championship".
To improve traction and cornering, the concept has both four-wheel drive and four-wheel steering, as well as a see-through nose so that the front suspension is visible.
Focusing on audience involvement, Renault also suggests that fans should be able to view the telemetry data of their favourite driver, in real time, over the web - possibly even vote to give certain drivers a power boost during a race.
Rather than adopt a full-electric vehicle, with the RS 2027 F1 concept, Renault has opted for a hybrid setup with a smaller fuel tank and all-elective mode reserved only for pit lane traffic."
