Anita Kerr made some of the most beautiful arrangements ever made by anyone! Of course her voice is so wonderful and clear. I especially love the album Slightly Baroque-just SUPERB!
If the one dislike didn't like Nothing Goes Unchanged then I think you're in the wrong site. This is beautiful. Anita Kerr and her singers were the best in the field of vocal group harmony, bar none. I need say no more.
Still can't underestand why the Anita Kerr Singers haven't been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. They've sung background on so many country hits.
Will the person who posted this wonderful video please, please, please change the title so that it is correct? The actual song title is "Everything Must Change" not Nothing's Gonna Changes...which, in itself, is grammatically incorrect. Great performance by Ms. Kerr, though. Thanks!
@Russell jones: No matter what they want to name this wistful piece, WE know what it is. I get a lump in my throat every time I listen. Anita has the BEST rendition of all.
Now I read that AK did NOT actually perform in the Butch Cassidy film even though arrangements used were unmistakably patterned on her sound. WHO COULD HAVE POSSIBLY DUPLICATED HER SOUND?
Disgrace Anita Kerr has never been recognised by Nashville in Country Music Hall of Fame. She and her singers were on so many hit records recorded there. Think Roy Orbison, Jim Reeves, Brenda Lee, etc.
Oh, if they would only release Performs Wonders on CD. What a masterpiece that is. By the way, I swear that was AK and the Singers in Butch Cassidy, etc. Am I right?

Anita Kerr = Very professional, talented, and accomplished artist. Respect to her!

Anita Kerr is 94. I enjoyed the Anita Kerr Singers in the 50's and 60's.
She has passed away 😢
@@jackchen7003 -- I didn't know. She was an amazing person.
Absolutely beautiful and 100% wholesome. I listen to the Anita Kerr Singers nearly every day.

I fully agree !
They have 3 Grammy Awards too! They were one of the Architects of the Nashville Sound, so yes, cannot understand why no induction.
It’s too late. Anita Kerr has passed away and not many members of the Anita Kerr Singers are left
@@jackchen7003 I know Dottie Dillard had passed but wasn't aware that Anita had too. Thanks.
@@ArkRed1 Yes. She passed very recently.

Chill.
@@stans945 I'm with you, Stan, :)
Huge correction to be made in the title - the name of the song is "Everything must change", nothing else.
Just wondering if there is anyone out there that could be regarded as a successor to Anita Kerr and the body of incredible work she performed??
Are there any other videos of her performing songs in the mid to late 1970's?
@marbe166
It certainly is Harry van Hoof conducting there, but I am not sure if it is the Metropole Orchestra.
wow thats very cool. im a huge fan of her and rod mckuen. dose she sing any more?
Anyone has AK's version of A Man and a Woman?

Could wéll be.....if it isn't he sure looks like him!!
Is it Harry van Hoof conducting the Metropole Orkest?
Oh, if they would only release Performs Wonders on CD. What a masterpiece that is. By the way, I swear that was AK and the Singers in Butch Cassidy, etc. Am I right?
Nope. They wanted the Swingle Singers but they were unavailable so they used studio musicians in LA. So I have been told.
KAREN CARPENTER
Yuk. She and Chet Atkins ruined country music in Nashville.
GaryHoetker: I'm not a Country Music fan, but last time I looked, Nashville or any place, it was thriving!
GaryHoetker: And furthernore, Gary, if you don't hear the simple beauty in this song, you've got something seriously wrong with your haid, boy!
