Emailed Anita two years before she passed. A sweet lady. I hope to visit studio rca A before I die and capture the very floor where Anita Kerr Singets sang backing with the best.

I remember this lovely song, and long life.

Wow, very catchy!! Something I never thought much of until listening to this is that "jazz" can obviously be applied to voices too....I, and perhaps many others, have typically thought of instrumental jazz, such as Buddy Rich, George Benson (guitar, that is), Art Tatum, and so on, rather than "vocal" jazz, which seems to be exactly what this is. Learn something new every day, they say! And sadly, I learned something else new just this evening when I found out Anita Kerr passed back in October ('22). Such a shame and such a long life filled with immense talent. Let's all keep it living on!

Awesome to see....there must be tons of footage of them out there....I wonder if she ever did publicity or live performances for 1975's GENTLE AS MORNING christian music album....which I loved....got the album and the music book....I grew up listening to the 8-Track of Gentle as Morning....loved it

    Pretty corny!🥴🤤

Yes, it does sound corny to some, but I can appreciate the variation that they give to musical art. You should listen to some of her records. The sound is way better. There is more to life than rock and roll. I'd rather listen to her and her singers than Frank Sinatra any day.
She was not bluesy, sassy, Nancy Wilson jazz. She was orchestra swing vocals ("elevator music"). She made elevator music cool

      @@erossinema8797 I don’t listen to rock &roll, Moron!
I listen to The Singers Unlimited, The New York Voices, The LA Voices, The Real Group, The Four Freshmen, The HiLos, Accent, etc!
You obviously don’t listen to any of these groups or you would know why Anita Kerr is corny!🤨
