He is a second child of father Surya Bahadur Rayamajhi and mother Krishna Kumari Rayamajhi. Narayan Rayamajhi is a constant seeker of folk songs, music and culture.
Narayan Rayamajhi, who has dedicated his life to music, is a master of original folk music. He has become a popular director in the field of folk art, culture as well as film industry.
He is a source of inspiration for all who are interested in Nepali art, culture and music. Rich in simple lifestyle, sweetness, soft-spoken and energetic behavior, Rayamajhi has become the center of faith of many artists. Narayan Rayamajhi, honored with dozens of honors at home and abroad, also served in Radio Nepal as an artist and national servant for two decades.
He is not only a pioneer in this field, but also a guide, a leader and an activist. He is well-known among Nepalis and Nepali speakers all over the world.
Hundreds of popular songs like Shirma Ribbon, Tinau Kholama, Pisinale Paisa Satera, Ramdi Pula, Maya Paincho Nadeu Sainli, Laichhau Beshana, Namuchhe Aama Dahima Tika, Hansher Bolideu Maya, Sannanile Jhukkayo Malai etc. are in everyone's heart.
