You NEED to try Narciso Poudree by Narciso Rodriguez! It’s a great powdery scent. I went to put it on this morning only to realize it was out. It legit ruined by day. I’ll be buying another bottle ASAP. Pure Musc is also amazing if you haven’t tried it! 💁🏼♂️😘
vanilla white definitely Pure Musc. It’s so soft and comforting and lasts a good 6-8 hours on my skin. Pounders is a touch more cosmetic and mature smelling. Just my thoughts tho. 👍🏻😘

Guerlain L'Instant is one of my signature scents and I adore it. Also you might want to try SP Parfums Powder & Dust. The powder comes from mimosa and it's quite nice. I've been wearing L'Instant for years and it's my "want to smell nice and not offend anyone."

Does anyone remember Loves Baby Soft? The commercials were quite funny. I don't even know if it was a perfume per se, but I was allowed to wear that, I guess just for the fact that it really smelled like baby powder and I was also allowed clear lip gloss and we all used kissing potion, the roll on gloss with all the flavors. I was a tween and that's all I was allowed to wear. 😄💐💄

Since you are a relatively new "fraghead," I would recommend you to sample, sample, sample. I could have saved myself a lot of money and time if I had done that in the beginning. I really like a website called The Perfumed Court. They have just about anything and I like ordering small 2mL sprays of things I am interested in. I will usually put together a big order once every other month of so. You will save yourself a ton of money doing this instead of blind-buying full bottles. I will say that certain houses seem to work well for me. For example, I really love D&G The One, D&G The One Desire (discontinued but I found it on Ebay for cheap), and D&G Pour Femme. I hope this helps and again, welcome to the community!

Narcisco Poudree is a fabulous powdery bomb. I blind bought it after hearing about it on Utube and the high rating on Frangatica. It is very lasting, a musk and powder bomb. Another powdery fragrance I love is Fiori Si, in the lovely pink bottle.

I think heavy powdery perfumes makes me feel suffocated. Like i over sprayed Sophia by Sophia and I thought I was gonna dial 911. I literally was loosing my breath. So I know for that one I can only spray in cold weather.

I prefer shopping in person for fragrances (though I might pull the trigger on Swiss Arabian's Casablanca and Florence). Do you have any tips about these stores? Every time I go there, they just do not seem to have any interesting options. Thank you.
Hi Nancy!! It just depends on when you go really. Some places also just don’t have very good Tj Maxx and Marshall’s stores. Mine aren’t great. I try to go at least once every couple of weeks and sometimes I get lucky and sometimes I don’t. I know that’s not helpful but I’m not doing anything specific if that makes any sense. 🙏🏻😊

I get a lot of powder notes in my Prada Candy Kiss on me. I love the orange blossom and powder in it.
C Mac most of the Prada Candy scents are powdery, I think. Only one I’ve really worn a lot is the original, it’s like powdery caramel.
