You make me want to try so many more fragrances Sarah! I really do enjoy Souffle de Parfum. 'Comforting' is such a perfect way to decribe it.
I love Amarige. I never wore it in high school but remember smelling samples of it in magazines. I got my first bottle in 1999 and wore it non-stop for a few years. My husband absolutely loves it. I wear it now and again, especially in summer, and still love it!

Love this video, Sarah! I LOOOOOVE Shalimar Souffle. You’re right, it’s unexpectedly comforting and “old fashioned” in a really amazing, not too “mature” way! 💕 That Hypnotic Poison bottle definitely has a Muse vibe about it with the deep red and black! Gorgeous!

Thanks for the list Sarah- I want to test all these now! When I was in university my roommate wore 4711 and I loved it but it’s never in stores. I remember it being citrusy which I love.
I’ve never seen it in stores either. You can easily find it online though for so cheap. 🥰
New sub! You have a great list and I cannot wait to try some of those Alexander dupes. I’m new to collecting fragrances and I’m excited about actually learning the notes of the different perfumes. Such an amazing favorites video! Omg I want to cry when you said Muse!!!! They are my top 3!!! I love them so so so much! I’ll try to catch their next concert in Vegas because they are there a lot! I had both Dior addict and manifesto. All I got was a single note of too much vanilla, and both made me feel sick to my stomach. I need more in my perfume than just vanilla. Need more complexity. I just got Habanita by Molinard. Talk about complex.......!! 🤗 We do agree on Stella tho. I love Stella. I hate Alien. Way too much heavy Jasmine. 😝

I bought Stella McCartney’s Rose Absolute because I could find or afford Lancôme Mille & Une Roses. I have a mini that spilled and I’ve always wanted a full bottle since 1999

I have not had a new bottle of Hypnotic poison since 2002. I absolutel love it. There are 1998 bottles still available to buy on some sites but they are about £50.00 more than the current ones.
I really need to bite the bullet and splurge on an old bottle. 😊💖🙏🏻

Growing up in Germany, my mom always had a massive bottle of 4711 and I think she used it to disinfect cuts and such with it (kinda like the German version of “put some Windex on it”) 😂

I haven’t smelled intense either but I have already been hearing that it’s better than the first one. If it were me I would probably go with the intense. I hope that helps! 🥰🙏🏻💗
I bought alaia blanche recently and it came with clear liquid. Saw a review later that the new ones with clear liquid is a weaker formulation 😬 but still smells like Hypnotic poison

Some of the brands are hard to understand. I wish you would say the name of the perfumes after the notes and put a list in writing in your header.

I have Alaia Blanche perfume the first bottle I ordered had a dark orange liquid in it and the second bottle I bought had a light yellow clear liquid in it and it smelled not the same. I think the light clear liquid is the original authentic. I’m sorry my English is not so good I’m from the Netherlands 🇳🇱

Guerlain Shalimar Souffle has NOT been discontinued, I think you meant another fragrance from the line, maybe Cologne?
Probably Eau De Cologne which is pretty hard to find.

Hi sarah! Like you’ve said, is the alaia blanche you showed here same as the white bottled blanche shown in fragrantica? I wanna get this perfume but I’m so confused because when you search up “alaia blanche edp”, the white bottled one shows up. Is the one you showed here discontinued and they’re reformulating it and is coming in white bottle now? I’d be happy if you can clear my confusion 🤥
Hi there!! The one that looks like it’s in a white bottle is the Blanche. I don’t know why the picture looks like that except that the bottle is actually clear glass and the liquid itself is amber colored. I hope that helps! ☺️

What is the name of the perfume after 4711 in the rectangular bottle?
Most likely Alaia. The one with the clear bottle is Alaia Blanche and the black bottle is just regular Alaia.
