Thanks for the tips. Are you doing any future tutorial videos on the melodic style? Great content on your channel
Yes I will be doing several videos later in the summer dealing with the melodic style
Oh but it does matter which fingers you play with. You're having regrets for not learning about drop thumb sooner, and using words like it doesn't matter when it comes to finger usage. Because you saw somebody else do it? That's dumb.
You have a shorter forefinger and when developed, as I have told you before, has a deeper bass tone than the middle finger. You are supposed to learn to use all your fingers.
Maybe you shouldn't be doing banjo videos of you're just going to give out bad information, repeatedly.
Maybe you shouldn't be watching just one video and think you know everything about my channel.. If you knew anything about this channel you would know that i am importing old videos from another channel i had. So this is a video from about 2 years ago while i was learning to play clawhammer. Yes some of my thoughts have changed on several technical issues of clawhammer. Oh and just because you think the way you play banjo is the "right" way doesn't mean it is. How about you let people learn without having to put them down. Or here is a crazy thought, try a more constructive way of delivering your comments. Stop trying to be a gate keeper.
