So far, this is the only video I have seen, that really shows you how to correctly import from the SD cards.
You are freaking AWESOME!! I have had this camera for 4-5 years now and couldn't get it to work with their software. I have a 100 yo mother who I wanted to imortalize forever in 360 so that when she is gone, I will still be able to put on my headset and sit down to enjoy her company. Seriously man,

Hey any chance you can do a comparison between the rylo and the fusion. I know you manily do go pro tips. Im interested in what your thoughts are? Two very good products from what I can see. I don't particularly like the shape and size of the fusion it looks too bulky for ridding, skateboarding and surfing.

I found to just plug in the Gopro fusion directly into my computer and open fusion studio and let it do all the work. I never take out the sd cards.
That works, however my understanding is, that the fastest way (especially for longer clips) is to take the cards out and use a USB 3.0 card reader. since it will be much faster than the built in port of the GoPro.
For pictures it still might just work fine.
IVE DONE IT THE SAME WAY B4 BUT NOW ITS NOT CONNECTING HAVE YOU EVER HAD THAT PROBLEM
Yes, I just did that with my PC (I believe it is not possible with a Mac). Just make sure you set up a folder on your PC, and copy the two files - front and back - to that folder, then open that folder in Studio. It looks as if it would be best to do it on a daily basis, as I just ended up with a load of videos and 360 stills to trawl through. :_D
@@LynneHand is anyone's go pro fusion videos not letting them look around in the video smoothly, it's like really choppy and laggy out of no where.

Do we really need to manually get and separate the files in two folders? (Front & back) or can we just simply copy all the files and let the Fusion Program detect them all in that single folder? I’m planning on gifting my parents this camera but it might be too complicated for them.
Do we have a solution to the ' Unable to create decoders' issue with Fusion Studio on a pc? My 8 yeal old Mac runs the software no problems but my new pc has this decoder issue.

I am able to upload 360s from my MiSphere and they look fine and rotate correctly.
But videos from the Fusion appear deformed. Any hints?
Do I need to buy the Premiere Pro separately? I tried to download the plugins from GoPro but nothing downloaded, so I guess I need to get the Premiere Pro software from somewhere...is that correct? Thanks.

Is this going to be saved to the computer? I have large files. I am trying to save it to the external hard drive and in preferences I routed it but when I go to render it can’t find the hard drive. Any info?

How does this camera deal with contrasted scenes ? Let say if you were inside a car, is it going to expose for the inside of the car or the outside ? and can you lock the exposure ?

Does anyone know what software is out there now that GoPro Fusion Studio doesn't work on the latest Mac OS? I can't process and export the photos / videos the same way in other software, at least as far I can tell. Very big bummer because the camera still works great overall.

last week i recorded some 360videos with the fusion.
I have already worked with the fusion last month but with shorter videos and it all worked fine.
The situation is that where i film i can't press the record button when then event starts. So i needed to start recording at least one hour before the start of the event.
Now i want to import the files but i only need those 10 minutes out of the 60 recorded.
How can i import only those 2 chapters to the Fusion desktop app.
When i move all the video chapters but keep the all the LRV and THM files in the folder it won't import with error (218)

Apparently the processing power of my $2500 surface laptop is not powerful enough to stitch together a 1 minute clip for an acceptable amount of time. Life sucks. Anyway, you're legit bro!

Debating on weather to stick with hero 6 or upgrade to fusion...$ is not an issue...suggestions? and is the fusion software too much to handle for an average home desktop circa 2015? thx
Hmmm Fusion is a lot more work with... and if you want a normal photo and normal video sometime... stick with hero6. Software on 2015 computer would be tough.... It took me 5 hours to render 10 minutes on my 2017 laptop :-(

Man, i have an IMAC 27in 3.5 gig and rendering(stitching) is still slow as f*ck. wow .... like 3.5 minutes takes like an hour!!! at this rate ill be spending a weekend just rendering 5 or 6 of my bands 3 to 4 minute songs!! is there something i am doing wrong or does it just take that long? will it be quicker to do 2k or some other form of rendering? thanks!
