    I've been running Korean cooking class and food tour company in Seoul, Korea for the last 10 years.
    I wanted to share my secret recipes which are both easy to make and delicious.

    Doenjang jjigae / Korean soybean stew
    Ingredients
    Stock ingredients
    White radish (daikon) 1/4 (200g)
    Leek 1 stalk
    Dried kelp 5cm x 5cm, 2 pieces
    Garlic 3 cloves
    Dried shiitake mushrooms 2
    Water 4 C
    Tofu(medium firm) 150g
    Zucchini 150g
    Oyster mushroom 30g
    Green onion 2 stalk
    Red & green chili (optional) 1 each
    Doenjang (Korean soybean paste) 2 Tblsp
    Garlic(mince) 1 clove
    Direction
    1. Combine ingredients to make a stock. Cut white radish(daikon), peel 3 cloves of garlic, cut the leek in half. Add 2 pieces of dried kelp. Add 4 cups of water and bring to a boil
    2. Prepare the vegetables. Cut zucchini into bite sizes, shred oyster mushrooms. Mince 1 clove of garlic. Thinly slice red and green chili. Chop green onion and cut tofu into bite sizes
    3. Pull out the kelp from the stock and continue simmering in a low heat until radish and all ingredients are fully cooked
    4. Add 3 cups of stock into a thick medium size pot. Add 1 tablespoon of stock to doenjang and stir around and then put it back to the stock
    5. Add zucchini to the pot. Once the soup starts rolling boiling and zucchini is half cooked add tofu, mushrooms and minced garlic and boil for 3 min
    6. Add chopped green onion and turn off the heat. Remove from the heat. Serve with steamed rice

    된장을 풀고 야채를 넣어야는데
    야채를 넣고 된장을 풀었더니 야채가 너무 푹 익더라구요^^;;
    지아님 동영상보니 야채도 좀 크게 썰어야겠습니다
    제가 너무 작게 썰은듯요
    저도 언젠가는 지아님과 같은 된장찌게 끓일 수 있겠지요~~
