we'll obviously get her. the chances of not getting at least an expy are more slim than getting one. honkaiverse is the favourite children of hoyo, and kiana has been the poster girl for many of their games at this point.
maybe in a few year for H:SR with a big, BIG update (perhaps for an anniversary or milestone update too) that somehow involves Acheron/Raiden B. Mei and Welt playing into the story weaving it all together.

Adult Mei has more energy and it would sound weird, HoT voice lines and some HoO voice lines were my best option😭

Since Acheron is another Raiden Mei variant, I've been wondering this for a while.
As of now, I'm playing HSR and WuWa in my phone.
In (2.1) of HSR, when Welt was telling a story to Acheron about something in HI3rd, that's where I wanted to know the lore of HI3rd. A couple of weeks ago, I've played HI3rd for a couple of days, but then stopped because it took a lot of space in my phone. Which, I kinda felt disappointed because I wanted to not only know the lore of HI3rd so that I can understand the references in HSR, but I also wanted to experience how people felt played HI3rd. Now, I did get spoiled of watching some animations in HI3rd, and watched other Hi3rd veterans and players reacting to it, but I know there's more to the animations than meets the eye.
I do know some lore of HI3rd, just a little bit. Mostly I watch other people reacting to HI3rd animations, and watch them get depressed. For example: Himeko's death in Chapter 9.
I will say, full respects to all captains who have endured this long.
HI3rd's animations are cool.
And the music is so good.
The point is, I want to know the lore of HI3rd, but as i've said about the space in the game. I need to know in your opinion. Is it alright to just watch videos of HI3rd lore explanations and gameplay? Or I should just play the game instead to understand it?
There's some videos on the HI3 RUclips channel explaining the Honkai verse
And also some Chronicles explaining some character's story, like: the Herrscher of Reason (Welt Joyce, Welt Yang and Bronya), Kiana, Otto, etc.
There's no need to play the game at all, just the animations and explanations from the official channel has all you want to know (there's also mangas on the official website of HI3)

You miss out on a lot of smaller character interactions, cool music, getting to love some characters and actual awesome boss fight gameplay, but if you really just want the lore, then just watching lore explanation videos covers the majority of it.
I do say that it's worth playing the game, because you just won't have the emotional connections with for example the Elysian Realm characters without having spent time chatting with them as Mei and getting to know them, but it's not ultimately *essential*.
You can also play on PC, there's a separate PC launcher and it's also on Steam (though Steam version is a bit buggy)
There is a reason to play the game. Its like an anime you can follow along at your own pace. At most, lore videos do is give away the story but there will always be a feeling of being unconnected, could care less, and detached from the characters. It is at its core, only a recap of the story and should stay that way. Hearing it from somebody vs experiencing it on ur own is very different, especially on further chapters, after Himekos death, that one Kiana chapter, Raiden Mei arc, Fu Hua arc, Seele chapters, and finally Kianas arc (at least at the point of the game I am so far).
I don't think a lore video could impact me the way they executed the story ingame. Not even the animations alone, that is just a part of the story, u are still missing on A LOT. Of course there is still some weak chapters from time to time, but even those are necessary and serve a purpose.
I need to catch up with the story so I can get the free HoO for my F2P account.
