I went back to SOD after leaving at the start of P2. ....and I went back to turtle after a few hours. Hardcore feels empty. Just do it on turtle it's more fun.
Truth be told, it’s likely that I’ll keep playing no matter what they do as long as my friends keep playing. The MMO aspect of the game is the best way to keep in touch and still have good times with friends a decade after we all moved to different states.
start doing videos on turtle! If you love the world of classic it's really good. I lvled to 60 but don't really care for the end game, but all the new zones and added quests in existing ones makes lvling so much fun. and their version of hardcore is more fun with the new quests.
Ye I’m getting sick of it to be honest, I just want immersion, relaxed pace and chill, might cancel my sub after he give me his perspective on it, I did buy the dino, sorry guys, didn’t buy early access though but I wanted the dino because I wasn’t sure if the green one would get removed, I think I might quit till it changes its ways but honestly I think everyone does need to start voting with their wallets now because the game will just turn into a cash grab and not the fun game we all know and love. Honestly they just do the same thing over and over, farm, get tmog get mounts. They never have to come up with any new ideas, it’s literally same thing over and over, why can’t it be more story based like you’re on a journey, why’s everything so sweaty disgusting grinds, need players traversing the world together exploring not sweaty grinds for a piece of gear
Watching this split of the community is the same thing that happened to runescape. The folks who love to whale out plays rs3 while the people who love the game plays osrs. Sure there's the handful who play both versions or play ironman on rs3 to avoid the p2w aspect but still. We're just old heads now. The younger generation is just brainwashed into believing these anti-consumer practices are completely normal for their gaming hobby. People are just adult children now.
Blizzard shows just how cold they are because they released the brutosaur on the same day as the cure dechenne reven pack. So all of the controversy about the mount overshadowed a fundraising event. I guess Money Honey knew people would buy both, getting closer to that $120 they really could have charged just for the mount.
Ripped into one in our Epic BG the other day. Tauren on it so it's colossal size and blocks everyone's cameras and forward FOV making people collide with trees and fence posts. If he reported me for calling him an idiot I think it is on him to prove in that instance he was not an idiot.
I just un subbed after 15 years. I will never return.the 90$ mount is insane. They cant even release a stable game with balancing. But we needed a 90$ mount. Eat my meatballs bliizard.
I still remember when they didn't wanted to ad an Auction House in Bfa,Boralus and Dazar'alor because Stw and Ogrimmar could been empty and lock what they did now by implementing au for mounts.I think all the auction house mounts should not be,let people interact with main cityes, seems like interaction dyes slowly,I am Glad I don't throw real money for wow shop.
You forgot to mention one critical thing. Hug the once enemy faction, the very reason of WoW is subtly changing. PvP is a a hop skip and a jump from it's just a friendly in house wargarme exercise with no real bullets. a tournament joust. No reason, we're all on the same big team.
I am amazed how you can talk unironically and ironically at the same time, and both sides are true. And at times I am not sure which side did you actually mean to say.
Yep, WoW has been like that for a very long time - new island, new currency, lots of mounts, pets and cosmetics so go get them boys and girls! Then it repeats itself though out every expansion. I wouldn't say that I'm complaining, but I no longer have the itch to play the game despite the fact that I have heavily invested in it and to some degree enjoy the lore. The only reason why I play WoW now, is because there are still a lot of things that can be farmed without the need of buying the WW expansion or even sub. I can do most of the stuff during the 20th anniversary as well as farm pretty much all world bosses and rares that drop mounts, so I really have no need to ''come back'' anytime soon.
I feel that class balance is pretty good. It will never be perfect, there is always going to be a class or race that's 0.001% better than the others and that will be enough for the extreme high-end players to race change. I think retail is in a really good place right now. I like the class design, I think the story is interesting, I enjoy all the content they've released so far. I don't really care about the new Longboy, it does not affect my gameplay at all. Idk, man, I like your videos usually but this just seems so negative for a game that I think is finally in a pretty good place after like 4 years.
it all comes down to FOMO! i bought the dino for this reason and will say ive not really used it apart from sitting outside the bank and ah in dorn 🤣🤣 but yeah wow has become a rinse and repeat blizzard gold mine! time is money friend
I only ever played vanilla like Classic or Nostalrius but I loved it and played each of them every day from the start until they closed down, The War Within is my first time playing retail and it has been a horrible experience. I've ran into constant bugs, almost every single quest that I've needed to do to start the story to an expansion were just broken with some NPC or item I needed to interact with to progress just not working. Each time taking hours of going through forum posts or youtube videos to try and trouble shoot the problem. Even just trying to do this Hallows End event, an event thats so old its legal, has been comically bad. From the event currency just disappearing from my inventory whenever I log out to just being unable to go to the pre destroyed Under City so I couldn't even turn in the currency. I did a LFR raid version of BRD for the 20th anniversary event and it was so buggy I was doing literally 99% of the damage one shotting everything including the bosses because of how buggy level scaling is. Blizzard support takes over a day to respond to a ticket and they literally never help and punish you for even bothering by demanding you fill out a survey with a pop up that never goes away until you do. The insane imbalance of horde and alliance to the point there are more ranked night elves then there are horde is so bad it feels like a joke and things like pvp ques take over 20 minutes or so many alliance theres not even a point in trying to get the air drops. All my other problems with the game just seem to be what WoW is now and has been brought up in your video. I don't really understand how anyone new can get into retail, It seems like its just for people who have always played wow and will always play wow and are cattle that would walk unblinking into a slaughter house if it has a 0.0001 chance of a recolored mount inside and pay a sub to do it.
You're on point with most stuff. There are also a couple points where you are pretty off point. Shadowlands almost killed WoW. Subscribers did leave in drones. It's DF that did a good job and now TWW where is Blizz is pumping out content that no one wants to leave no matter how much they complain. Also, don't compare Siren Isle to new content. It's a minor patch. It's to add stuff to the bigger content the major patches bring. Using it to say Blizzard brings no new content is like using a fork and saying it's shit at helping you drink a soup.
I don't get why people are so mad about this. They have been doing this since over 10 years now, and people enjoy it, and they keep enjoying it. So, why would they change how they deliver the game. And the Classic Community has been onboarded well, too. I'm looking forward to the new island and the new currency to upgrade my M+ gear. 😅 Class imbalance and some minor bugs have never bothered me to be honest.
I mean, idk what there is to complain about. They are keeping up with content and updates, the game is super fun, and I see a bright future for the game. I personally don't care for having exclusive overpriced mounts in the cash shop. There are PLENTLYYY of mounts in the game, I'm sure you can find one and stick with it
I think you are underestimating the damage Blizzard are doing with this buggy patch. There are a small but significant number of players whose progress is impeded to the extent they just can't play the game. I mean things like characters falling through a hole in terrain and can't recover them. Those people WILL leave-they have no choice. It take a while for the compound effects to be significant but it does happen.
This is why I only sub for s1 and last season and only play pvp. Fuck all the grinds and pve, and pixel mounts that you think you own but it's a byte of data on a microsoft server
you clearly are very jaded. the "new island, new shit to farm, thats all" is a bad argument. that has always what wow expansions were. we have really cool systemic gameplay changes like dragonriding, hero talents, etc. the treadmil is always going to exist in an mmo, but im glad we moved away from borred power. i do agree that the brutosaur and the early access are really predatory tho
@@Ubertrollz69420 i couldn't disagree more. dragonriding and the talent trees+hero talents are one of the only reasons im still playing. it gives me customization as a casual.
@@Gamepro5 the thing is that the customization is good in process but it all ultimately ends up leading down one road, the most viable one, even in casual play. Everything you're complaining about can be summarized in just one word: "America." It doesn't matter what you do as long as you make piles of money. Because making piles of money is the only thing that matters.
I’m in that exact same predicament. I love the immersion of old WoW, but like the gameplay, mogs and RP element of modern WoW. For me, I pretty much just RP most of the time now. I occasionally raid because I enjoy that, but I’m sad too at the state of modern WoW.
I mean its always been like this lets be honest. people are complaing liek its a new thing. Class balance has always been a issue. then feel like so many peopel are mad at the bruto bc the bought tokens to get the original and that was way more money lol
I think they keep me immersed and invested with great storyline and cut scenes. So far TWW is winning on that front. The transmog etc is just a bonus to me.
100% in agreement with ya. I am surprised it took a really, really "long stretch" of Cromie time to siphon away the soul from World of Warcraft. Warlords of Draenor came "Sargerasly" close. Just found this channel a month ago and loving every upload!
At the same time I havent had this much fun in WoW since pandaria. So something is working
I'll keep saying it. Blizzard cultivated the perfect consumer.
this vid validated me making a hardcore classic character so hard lmao
Go play turtle wow man, classic is abandoned because they can't monetize it as much
I went back to SOD after leaving at the start of P2. ....and I went back to turtle after a few hours. Hardcore feels empty. Just do it on turtle it's more fun.

If the truth hurts, prepare for pain...Greetings from the EU servers my brother, you spoke the truth.
I think it's hilarious that people complain about these things when it's not even a new thing. Blizz has been doing this shit for years now.

a mount that lets you autorun from quest giver to a questing spot please? 999.99$
